Great fridge! Water/ice dispenser is wonderful with a little light. Inside is bright and roomy. There’s just 2 of us in a small house, so we needed something more apartment sized. Can’t wait to buy the matching stove!!

This frig has surprising capacity for its size. It's very well designed. It's beautiful and classy. I highly recommend it.

Just received this new 2019 GE refrigerator to replace 2005 GE Profile. Been working great after 2 weeks of ownership. We chose this model b/c its much less money than the Profile version and found the only differences btw both was slide-in shelves and humidity controls on the drawers. All else seems the same and we saved $1K by going with this model. BestBuy did a great job of delivering the new unit and removing the old one + connecting the water line. This stainless steel model has showcase lighting and is fingerprint resistant. So far its keeping things cold, fits our space perfectly and looks great.

In the beginning, after we received this appliance at the end of August 2019, it was working okay. But around 3-4 months later, the fridge started to run quite noisy. Not all the time, but at times, the compressor sounds like an outdoor power generator... and we are talking really struggling, in a moment when the temperatures outside were pretty cold. I should have called for service, but this was around the Holidays and my family was traveling, so we let it slip... And then, comes the COVID-19 pandemic, and our fridge starts to promptly misbehave. When we were just getting ice from the integrated ice maker, the fridge went dark on us. We pulled it out, and looked, the whole thing is sealed and there is really little we can do - and we are quarantined because of a person who lives with us with pre-existing conditions. After leaving it unplugged for a few minutes, then tapping on the back in the lower left side, miraculously, the fridge was back. We thought maybe this was just an isolated fluke, but nope. Happened just a couple of days again. I told my family, tough luck guys, you don’t use the ice maker anymore, until when we can call BestBuy technician to help fix the issue. Right now, we cannot risk to get Somebody with Coronavirus who is asymptomatic, to bring it to us... we are stuck with this appliance, so we wanted the rest of you to be aware.

When working with a very defined and limited space, this refrigerator fit the bill in all the important ways. It's designed well, with quality construction inside and out, maximizing usable space, with good lighting and drawers that open easily and slide well. Although the freezer side is a bit smaller than preferred, it's still efficiently designed and the shelves are easy to access. And all this in a very sleek, and contemporary stainless steel skin that we can't even bring ourselves to put anything on...i.e. magnets, photos, etc. And no fingerprints either! And to top it all off, it runs very efficiently too. It holds the temp well so the compressor kicks on sparingly. With the deal we got very pleased with this fridge.

It's been few weeks sensed we got our new fridge and so far so good. It took a little getting used to. Our old one was with us for 30+ years. Also a GE! The new one is counter deep, which is better for space and flow of foot traffic thru our kitchen. I did order an extra bin for the fridge side door. But other wise there is plenty of room. Compared to my old one, I like the large covered butter area on the door and the cold cuts/cheese draw is also deeper! I like the LED lights too!!! It runs quiet! So hopefully it will last for 30+ years like it's old cousin! So far no regrets and very happy with our purchase!

Looks quite nice and it isn't noisy, it's not a fingerprint magnet, still not a lot of space inside (it's expected not being very deep). The water jet from the water dispenser is a little weird, you have to get used to it especially if you want to fill a narrow neck bottle. As a whole we are satisfied with this product for an affordable price.

Very good design. The drawers keep everything organized. My produce is staying fresh much longer than my previous refrigerator. It runs very quietly. The only issue I see is that it doesnt produce ice very quickly. Luckily my family doesn't use a lot of ice, but it tends to run out after filling 5 glasses full.

Great value for what it is. Wanted a counter depth fridge and didn’t want to spend too much and this fit perfectly. Replaced a much more expensive kitchenaid refrigerator. Not very different for less than half the price. That is a win

We purchased this refrigerator after a HORRIBLE experience with an LG refrigerator that died less than a year after it was purchased. We’ve only had the GE about a month but it’s great so far. It has a decent amount of space in the freezer and fridge and most importantly it keeps its contents COLD. As many other reviewers have mentioned there are always water drops on dispenser. It’s a minor inconvenience considering the PTSD I have from its predecessor. The inside is well lit and resists my kids’ finger prints well. It looks nice and I’m grateful and hopeful that it will last for years to come.

Its about 6 weeks since I got this refrigerator. My earlier GE cafe model was giving me trouble, was not cooling enough, had it repaired several times but no go. So, decided to replace it and was looking at several brands, but due to our space restrictions could only shortlist a few. Best Buy had an offer on this GE, and am happy I got this one. This model is very similar to the Cafe model and has everything that the earlier one had except that premium/luxurious finish is missing but still it does have a very good look. The quality and finish overall is very good. The interior space is well designed for both the freezer and main compartments. The cooling is excellent, ice maker is good and the water dispenser is well designed to prevent spills. Noticed that it does make a bit of noise when the compressor starts but it reduces once it settles into a steady rhythm. The unit is well lit in the main compartment but it could have more lights in the freezer section and the placement of lights could be better. But I guess I had gotten used to the bright lights in the Cafe range and they reduced the number of lights to lower the price. All in all I am happy with this GE and hope it gives me several years of good service. Highly recommend this model!

Amazing amount of room for a counter depth unit. Great lighting on the inside and it runs much quieter than the Samsung it replaced. The only improvement I can think of is if it had back lit icons for ice/ water etc. If the family is watching a movie, you may have to turn on the kitchen light until you memorize which button operates which function. Ice maker works really fast on this one also. Made it through 11 people at Thanksgiving and never ran out of ice. Great unit so far.
