Very pleased with availability and pricing on all my purchases.
We know any issue with noise may be concerning, and we want to assist. We do expect the refrigerator to make some sounds at it operates, and if it may be helpful we have information about what sounds the unit may make on page 45 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product’s page. GE should take note of the common thread thru ought the reviews for this product: 1. the plastic protective coating that is installed at the factory is universally agreed to be a real pain-in-the-rear to remove, and 2. a covered butter compartment should be a standard feature on a $3,000 refrigerator. Now that I have that off my chest, I'm very pleased with this well-made and thoughtfully designed refrigerator/freezer. This purchase was from an "identical" from LG, that like others have said here, only lasted about 5 years. I'm counting on GE's reputation and history to prove this is really a superior product. Buy American!

I am very pleased with this refrigerator. So far it works efficiently , keeping food cold and fresh. It was priced well on a Black Friday deal. Easy to maintain stainless steel, fingerprint proof. The only complaint is that the ice comes out too quickly causing it to fall all over the floor. Also water drips on the dispenser plate when you finish filling your glass so you have to dry it each time , very annoying though not a big deal, But all in all I am happy with my purchase.

I had to replace my fridge without benefit of shopping in person, so I chose this based on description, reviews, and above all availability. I needed a counter depth, wanted ice in the door and a full width freezer, and this model fit the requirements. In my opinion this fridge needs better organization, and it is small regardless of how huge it appears from the outside. What I did not notice in my online analysis was that this refrigerator has no storage designed for wine or other tall bottles. I now have the gallon milk jug (barely fits 2) on the top door shelf, hard to reach for a short and not extra-strong person, and tall bottles on the middle door shelf. Door magnets are strong, so bottles jiggle and could fall over every time the right door is opened. I did not realize how small the left door shelves were; 4 soda cans fit in top shelf, red bull size and skinny short bottles fit 2nd shelf, this is all due to the icemaker taking up door space. All the drawers (fridge and freezer) have slanted backs so that a frozen pizza box does not lay flat on the bottom of the freezer drawer, and veg drawers hold less than you'd think. There is no butter compartment. The meat/cheese drawer is full width, so both doors must be open to access the drawer. The freezer closes so tightly that I can only open it with 2 hands and bracing myself, it would not work for anyone fragile but helps to prevent toddlers from opening by accident. I do not find it noisy, and after a few days the temperatures settled and remain steady except when lots of new groceries arrive.

We've only had our new refrigerator for a few weeks after our Kenmore (LG) died within 5 years. Very hopeful that this one lasts a lot longer. The refrigerator is spacious and will lit. Seems to do it's job well.... keeping food cold and/or frozen. One disappointment for a fridge that's almost $3000. They left out the butter tray and a drop down shelf located in the door of the freezer that is available on other models. I ended up submitting a parts order to add those myself. But, for the price, that extra few dollars of plastic wouldn't be too much to ask from GE. The sound of the compressor running is a little louder than I would like, but not horrible. Overall... we like the fridge and hope that feeling continues for years to come!

When I got the refrigerator the insulation is damaged and after sending pic to a manager in total tech he stated the best option is to replace it with new one and until today I didn’t receive the new fridge and total tech department kept promising they will fix the issue and no one did. It’s really ridiculous how no one in a big well known company can’t fix my issue and fix their system. Never recommend Best Buy not even the refrigerator

Cons: After 3 months our fridge went out, it would not get cold and ruined all of our food. Luckily it was covered under warranty, but a brand new fridge should not have those kinds of issues. We’ve been without a fridge for over a week waiting for the replacement parts. Also, when we originally received the fridge the delivery was delayed and I was not notified by Best Buy. Once it was delivered the packaging was terrible to remove. It had a green plastic wrapped around it & it’s a struggle to get it out of the cracks around the doors.
Pros: Fridge looks nice & it has more room than I anticipated. Size is great if you need counter depth.

Super good delivery where care was taken removing old unit and inatalling new one. GE makes the beat units...auper quiet, great loiks with easy one touxh temp controls. BB got this unit delivered fast

The refrigerator was delivered damaged. There are dents all over the back and down on the side like someone took a sledge hammer to it. Also, there is some sort or white glue popping out of the fridge door seams that should not be there and can not be removed. Best Buy only offers 10% MAX back for damaged items to keep so of course we are going to return it. We decided to wait a week to see if we even like the refrigerator to exchange it for a new one or a different brand. We will be exchanging it for a different brand 100%. The freezer door is SO difficult to open. You have to use two hands to open it- one hand to hold the fridge in place, the other to pull hard to open the freezer. The fridge part is very spacious but all of our food is constantly covered in condensation. The long sliding compartment is also difficult to slide open. There is no drip compartment for the water and ice in the door. So if you spill or position your cup wrong the ice and water go straight on the floor. The description says it is finger print resistant or whatever, It is NOT. Instructions were also terrible for putting the fridge together since we had to do everything ourselves due to COVID-19.
Overall, terrible. Just awful experience and we are so disappointed in this purchase. I do hope no one buys this fridge and experiences what we have.

We originally bought the LG version of this fridge, but it broke within 5 months. After fighting with LG customer service, we got our money back and in turn bought this fridge. It was counter-depth like we needed, was a little more expensive (which was disappointing since this has a few fewer features) and was immediately available. In other words, this was really our only option. We saw the reviews said it was noisy but figured it was not too bad.
I am shocked at how noisy this fridge is. The LG was virtually silent and even my parent's 10-year-old fridge is quieter than this one. I keep thinking I will get used to it but it still really gets on my nerves. I think the hardest thing is the noise is not constant or the same. Sometimes a quiet hum, sometimes a louder hum. Sometimes a rattling sound or other times it is a louder sound, like an engine running. It is so disappointing that we paid more money for this fridge and have to live with the noise because we really had no other options. I would not recommend this if you have another option.

Very happy with my new refrigerator. We like the french door. This refrigerator is fingerprint resistant, great. Have not noticed an increase in electricity, so kudos to that too.

The fridge looks great and the overall layout is pretty amazing. The door shelves are SO much better than out previous fridge. And the space saving ice and water is great!!! Temperature seems to be controlled very well - throughout the fridge. Only issue is a buzz we can hear a few times a day.

We needed to purchase a counter depth refrigerator for our new home. I was concerned that the smaller cubic footage would be too small but was pleased that the design turns out to be ample. Love the French Door and bottom freezer design, Much better than side-by-side.

This is a good fridge, keeps things at temperature easily. Ice maker works much better than the more expensive Samsung that we had before. Lots of space for a counter depth fridge.

Works great. Everything seems right except the motor tends to run loud at times (even though I haven't opened the door or added food items) and also I wish the ice reservoir and a larger capacity. Or had a compartment in the freezer section to store extra ice.

the first one delivered with 5 days of ordering didnt work. never got cold fridge or freezer. called next day after delivery, would take almost 2 1/2 weeks to get me an exchange. no real care by best buy for inconvenience, no expedite for customer care, no discount for having to go buy ice in middle of summer for 2+ weeks. by time i looked at home depot and lowes for order it was same delivery date. pick your poison. first appliance buy with BB a fail for me all around. delivery guys were great that's my 2 stars.
