It was a very nice and spacious refrigerator it was just too wide for my space

It’s no more loud than any other refrigerator- the doors actually close properly as compared to my 10 month old Whirlpool french door fridge that our builder installed in thr spec home we bought last year. That fridge shot out ice cubes as if they were going to be launched into space. Ice chips EVERYWHERE, but mostly on my floor & not in our cups! Not this GE side-by-side. Having the rounded plastic cover at the dispenser level, completely prevents that issue from being a regular problem.

I am happy with my purchase and decision for the side by side. I have so much more freezer space and the refrigerator is plenty big. My favorite feature is the ice maker and dispenser which I use several times a day. It is also quiet.

This refrigerator is the same size and the one I replaced but it holds so much more and the quality is better. I really like the amount of space each shelf has and the large amount of items that can be held on them. Plus the added feature of being able to see all the items without them being totally lost behind the items in the front of the shelf.

The day that I purchased this fridge, I'd already made up in my mind that my new appliances (I purchased a suite) were going to either be GE or LG; I found this same fridge on sale--and already read reviews, so, I told the salesperson, I'll take it! So, the delivery day came, I was super excited and more hyped about the price i'd paid! The delivery guys came in, measured where I would be putting the fridge, everything was a go! The delivery guys attempted bringing my new baby in and dinged the FRONT by the storm door not being unhinged, ugly cat-claw-like scratches, dings, BOY! I was not furious, not even moved, because I am OKAY-like cool, because I have to be; the guys unhinged the door and finally placed my baby to her new stay place, went back out and brought the handles. Next, the delivery guy brought in a sticky with BB Cust. Relations phone number and I got nowhere. I called the store, after days of this "mishap" the manager credited my account for $100-on my branddd new fridge. SO, whatever, right, because, like, things like this happens all the time. Two weeks into owning my new ice box, my fridge still has not made any ice, like, no ice! The freezer wont go below 20 DEGREES; food is freezer burning, thawing, and unthawing...we have expensive foods, and meats, my minds boggled, what am I gonna do? GE worked to get my fridge to freezing point and MAKING ice after a phone call, or TWO, but nonetheless, the fridge is working just fine today, thank God! Every good deal is not always a good deal. But she's a beauty and I hope she sticks around for as long as my other GE fridge did!

The refrigerator and delivery was excellent. Our old refrigerator of 10 years suddenly stopped working and within 3 days we had a new one delivered!

Another quality appliance from GE and the ice maker is by the far the best one yet. Makes tons of ice, has a large bin and on the quite side.

Runs quiet. Temperature display is nice to have. Factory settings are 0 and 36 deg F, and the fridge does a good job keeping those temperatures. French door fridges are popular but side-by-side’s have larger freezer capacities, and easier to find things. The water filter is located inside the refrigerated compartment, so the water is much cooler than designs with water filter outside of the fridge. Haven’t need to change the water filter yet, but other reviews said the built in electronics prohibits you from using a third party water filter ( read: cheaper). GE appliance is owned by Haier, frig is assembled in Mexico.

For the price best deal out there. Spacing on shelves and size of freezer is perfect.

Great quality and delivery - Love the space and sleek front

After having a french door refrigerator for the last 5 years, we wanted to get back to a standard side by side. We're glad we stumbled across this one...between the room it offers in both the fridge and freezer sections along with the adaptable layout, we've been impressed with it so far.

Very nice fridge with plenty of room for a good number of amount of items

Great frig. Lots of space. More then my last one which was same size. Only downfall is the plate under ice and water. It’s not indented so if ice or water spills it falls on floor or drips down frig.

Lots of space in my Ge refrigerator. Love the different racks, baskets, drawers, shelves. Adjusts to everything I put in it. Just right for my household.

The other fridge I ordered was back ordered. Best Buy helped me attain this one and they found the price match for me. Perfect for my area and spacious inside. Love the fridges inside layout.
