Very pleased with our new refrigerator, the freezer compartment is very well designed.
Access to bottom of compartment is easy, with drawer pushed in all the way, and drawer seems more accessible than other makes.

Initially overall satisfied with this refrigerator. Ice maker was always a pain. Often had to shake the ice bin so ice would be able to come out of the dispenser. Although a pain, we learned to deal with this problem.
Unfortunately the refrigerator stopped working at the 24month mark. Exactly 1 week after my 2 year BestBuy Total membership extended warranty expired. Appears the compressor gave out. Looking for a new fridge now.
Maybe we got a defective device, but I cannot recommend this fridge.

I had this refrigerator delivered and set up on June 2nd. I had the fridge set on 34 degrees but my fridge thermometer was reading 39-44 degrees. I called Best Buy and had a service tech come out and they told me that I needed a new refrigerator but could not deliver until July 18th. Now fridge is not cooling at all and freezer isn't working now either.

The refrigerator never cooled properly. Average temp was 38-44 degrees. I had it set at 34 degrees since day one. Even the Turbo Cool didn't bring the temperature down to a constant safe range.
I had a repair company come out and they stated that sometimes these GEs have an issue out of the box. I am replacing it with the same model to see if it will work. Hopefully.

We love our new GE refrigerator. It’s so spacious and is the first one we have had with the freezer on the bottom. It is really easy to see what you have in the freezer.

You cannot imagine how perfect Best Buy has that delivery system down. Between the notifications emails and text messages and phone calls they are a top quality company.

This is a great fridge the only recommendation I have is when selling this inform customers that it takes 12-24 hours before the water fills up in the ice maker to begin to make ice

Chose this product because the build quality was better than Samsung. So far it’s been meeting our expectations. Great delivery experience from Best Buy‘s install team.
