Do NOT buy this Refrigerator

Today GE repair came out (already a week without refrigerator) and said it is the Compressor. Cost to repair is over $800. I find this simply unacceptable that a refrigerator needs a new compressor being relatively new. A compressor should be good for at least 8 to 10 years under normal use. Mine is a 2 adult household, minimal wear and tear on major appliances. It is a sealed system (compressor) but the warranty is only for 1 year. At the cost of almost $2000 I think this is completely unacceptable. I would NOT recommend due to my experience...

Display shows that it is at 0 degrees. Called to report and now I have to wait 3 days for someone to come out to look at it to see what is wrong, not acceptable, no Best Buy for me, this is the 2nd time I have bought an Applicance and have had issues. so disappointed delivery has gone bad

It was great for a while but everything keeps cracking inside, I've already had it repaired twice and the bins have all broken again after being replaced. I can't wait to get another fridge without the ice maker onthe top.

Bad purchase: died after 3 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this fridge with a 3 year warranty. Then in 3.5 years the refridgerant leaks and I basically need to get an entire fridge and it isn't covered by warranty. This is ridiculous. Horrible purchase.

Buyer Beware Of LG Refrigerators

We are now having to have it replaced for a 2nd time in about 6 years. This is going to cost us close to $700 to replace. So they are terribly unreliable. We also purchased the 5 year Best Buy extended warranty which is useless at this point. All I can say is look at other brands before buying an LG refrigerator. A very dissatisfying and expensive experience.

The second one, had to get a Tech to fix the door magnet of the fridge door that was not closing. Then after six months, the compressor died…
