very roomy fridge. nice exterior stays clean & easy to clean when it gets messed up. wanted a factory installed ice maker that was not in the door. fridge reviews, installers and repairmen seem to unanimously state the biggest repair issue with any brand fridge is ice makers dispensing in the door. interior lights start out dim and over time brighten up. that's kind of irritating given i'm not usually in the fridge that long. got this fridge after purchasing a whirlpool that accumulated frost on the inside back fridge vent which to me was a sign of not sealing well. like I said, we don't have the door open that long, so contacted best buy to return 5 days post delivery. they were great about giving us a full refund towards this GE purchase. purchases was prompted by our 9 yr old GE dying. this is certainly better than the whirlpool initially purchased.

We got this fridge about 2-3 weeks ago and we absolutely love it! It works great and meets our needs. It's a nice large size and has a ton of room for all our groceries- you can move the shelves up in down as needed and the shelves on the doors can also be moved for the height needed!

Runs quietly and seems to cool evenly. Ice maker works well. Freezer is very deep..holds a great deal more than my Samsung product. Was worried about keeping the stainless steal clean, but a quick wipedown with a damp cloth seems to do the trick. Inside lighting makes finding items easy. The side storage trays are easy to adjust and are deep enough to hold 2 quarts of milk and a juice jug in a single tray.

Glad this fridge model and style were available at Best Buy as it matches my new appliances purchased from home builder...and for much lower price! It can be noisy, but not terribly distracting from the great room. It "rattles" when if the doors are allowed to close hard, I like that the ice-maker is inside freezer, lots of space in fridge/freezer. Had to buy an extra shelf from GE that was the egg tray/roll up door shelf with a drop-down tray feature good for storing butter. Wish this was included with the fridge. GE did ship me a free filter bypass part as I don't use the fridge water filter since I have a kitchen RO system...so that was a good thing.

Bought this unit so I wouldn't have the typical maintenance issues with the door ice maker and water dispenser. Now use a filter pitcher for water instead. Only a minor inconvenience in filling the pitcher. Additionally, without those options, there is additional space now available in the fridge. This unit has a lot of room. Unit is a bit louder than our old unit, but not a issue. So far we've had the unit for a month and have been very pleased.

XL Refrigerator, Love the color easy to wipe off dirt, quiet, slight normal popping noise when the fans and compressor kick on. Door alarm to let you know the Refrigerator was left open, digital temp on the door, large deli drawer without temp control. Had to remove doors to get the massive fridge in the house.

Wanted a base model French door refrigerator and was pleasantly surprised upon delivery that this was not a base model but an impressively engineered appliance . Very happy so far , I have had one month with no issues. Love the spotlight lighting and the door alarm function.

This refrigerator is awesome looking in Slate. The amount of space within the frig portion, as well as the freezer portion, is overwhelming. The running mechanics are extremely quiet. The many shelves are plentiful, sturdy and easy to adjust. The interior lighting is outstanding. A good choice was made and we absolutely love this unit!

I had a GE side by side model that was a great fridge however, it was just to hard to see everything in it as well as fit large items in it. So I decided it was time to switch the a french door/bottom freezer model, and I couldn't be happier. The stainless steel matches the rest of my kitchen spot on (all GE appliances). I am no longer throwing away food hidden at the back of the fridge. Additionally the choice to skip the water in the door was great for me as it provides quite a bit more room. All I needed was the ice maker anyway.

This fridge line is an amazing color! Love that it doesn't smudge !

Liked the layout and that it doesn't contain a water filter and ice maker. They take up space and need the lines cleaned out too frequently (once a month according to our friend who works on refrigerators and never orders ice out).

We are very happy with the design and features of this fridge. A couple of items of note. The unit the we received is very slightly larger than the specifications, causing our fridge not to fit in the space initially. This was an issue that we resolved but it was a hassle. I am VERY happy with the fridge nonetheless. Another thing to know is that there is no butter compartment . FIrst fridge I have seen in a long time that didn't have that little feature. Not a huge issue, but noteworthy. Everything else is very convenient and useful.

The literature with the fridge didn't explain which shelves and bins should be best used for certain items.

Very large capacity fitting into somewhat limited space. Installation by Best Buy was excellent. Very happy with refrigerator and buying experience.

It is very nice and seems to work well it's been about 2 months my only real complaint is the freezer just doesn't seem as sturdy as the older model refrigerators I have kids and they are constantly in an out of it I guess only time will tell

After 10 years, I had to retire my GE side by side. I have always wanted a French door type fridge without an ice maker. This fridge is spacious and well made, so far no complains except, I have noticed that the temperature is usually around 39 - 40 degrees F but I have not lowered the temp to test the variance. I have not found it to be an issue yet and most of my food stays cold and stays fresh a lot longer than my old side by side. I do love GE products and I will stay with GE as long as they continue to produce quality products.

I love the fridge. However it is a special order and it took three months to be delivered. If you have time to wait this is a good deal, if you need one now better look for another fridge.

If you're looking for maximum space, low to no frills, and just a darn good looking fridge, this is your model. It was cold 5 hours after delivery and has so much space we haven't bee able to fill it yet. The door slots are nice and large, all will fit two gallon jugs. The depth is nice and deep, the drawers maintain their settings and the bottom drawer works great for meats and cheeses. We could not be more happy with our purchase.

We love everything about this refrigerator. The size is perfect. The lighting is great. The doors close easily. It's working great.
