My first convection oven and it is wonderful. Have to use to baking with one of these ovens , have to bake everything at a lower temp because everything cook faster than my old oven. I really enjoyed using it. Greay oven

This has been a nice oven for us, but like many other customers, we have received the F97 error that causes it to stop working. 2 months after the 1 year warranty ended. There is class action lawsuit against GE that is forming based on this common error on multiple GE double ovens. The oven is also very slow to heat up.

This replaced our KitchenAid double oven that we had for 20 years. The GE model we purchased has even more interior space than the Kitchen Aid. The controls are easy to use. We are very pleased with this oven.

So far the double oven has worker as advertised with no problems. We have used both ovens in each and every mode. The controls are easy to use. The fan is very quiet. It was a great purchase.

The delivery and installation went well and the unit looks good. However on day 1 the upper oven close switch didn't work so we scheduled a repair. The lights stayed on so we shut the oven off at the circuit. The next morning we needed to use the lower oven so I went and turned the circuit back on. The oven then worked. Now 2 weeks later the oven timer doesn't work. Best Buy has been very good at handling this situation and has scheduled a replacement unit for us.

We are very pleased with our new wall oven. Thanks to a great sales lady,we ended up with an excellent double oven.

Was delivered day before Turkey day! Cooked a 28lb turkey came out perfect!!

Replaced my GE oven 2 years ago because of a defective cooling fan (Error code F97). I am now getting the same error message. The part is not covered under warranty because it is over a year. Seems like this is a known issue that GE will not stand behind. Dont know if I am going to replace the part or buy a different oven completely.

I just had my GE (JT5500SFSS) 30" double oven installed a few days ago and baked in it for the first time last night. My negative review is because it blows HOT, HOT air into the kitchen. Makes the room too hot. I had my exhaust fan on and had a fan blowing the hot air toward the exhaust fan but it didn't help. It might be OK during the cold winter months, but during the summer it was awful. Guess I'll have to just live with it. Very disappointed after spending so much money for the product and then $200 to install it and another $20 to remove the old one. Wish I had my old one back.
