We bought a whirlpool washer approx 5 years ago, the non agitator type with saving water. Junk washer per the wife, did not wash clothes properly due to the minimal water in the washer. This washer, with agitator is great, and the wife is beyond happy, to get this type back.

I wanted and HD washer with an agitator. It is large capacity. Does not take forever to cycle through. Has the extra water capacity choice and all the great settings. I am very happy and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great washer, price and all the great features. Nice steel tub also.

I did not give a 5 star rating because it is a little loud when running but it cleans well and has a very large load capacity.

I had a bad attitude about buying one of these so called "high efficiency" washers. I KNEW I wouldn't like a washer with low water levels. Since it arrived, I have washed all sorts of common household items, using different settings just to prove what a lousy job these HE washers do....but I was WRONG! Everything, without exception, has come out at least as clean, if not better than my old washer. You will have an adjustment period, but it wont take long for you to get the hang of it. I have trouble remembering to put the soap in first, THEN the clothes. Its just DIFFERENT but not DIFFICULT. I LOVE the presoak and second rinse options! Its not loud and doesn't take an unreasonable amount of time to do a load. So, I'd say: Try it, you'll LIKE IT!

This is one of the few washers on the marker that has an agitator and also fills completely with water. The Samsung washer I originally bought did not use enough water to get stains or odors out of the clothes. Thankfully, Best buy has a return/exchange policy and, after searching their website, I found this washer. It is great!! The clothes always get clean and have no odor. It also has several cycles to select from and it also has an automatic fabric softener dispenser. I am extremely pleased with this washer. I gave it only 4 stars because this washer only has one agitation speed. If it had a couple of agitation speeds to select from it would be perfect!!

I was looking for a large capacity top loader washer without all of the expensive computerized extras. This washer has every feature I was looking for and a few I didn't even know I wanted. Plus it plays a "tune" at the end of the cycle. Makes me smile ever time.

Replaced it with my old ge washer, works great! Washes real good, its not quiet but not too loud, great washer,i recommend it

I like that it is modern settings and cycles but still has the agitator at the top and bottom and the stainless steel tub like your traditional washers. And it has the deep fill setting so I don't have to worry if the tub is getting enough water for the clothes that is being put in it, it will fill it to the top if you want it to and get the clothes completely wet and washed like I like it.

This washer has been wonderful. Much larger inside than I was expecting which is great. Easy to use and does a great job. Couldn’t be happier!

I picked this machine because of its lack of expensive replacement electronics. I have used it for about 2 months now and it is fine. It is a little louder than I would have liked but I can close the laundry room door so it isn't a huge issue. It is however a BIG capacity machine for what I am used to but probably great for a family with kids...mine are all gone.

My daughter's washer died about a month ago. After reviewing several brands/model we decided to get her a GE model that was an upgrade compared to her old one that wasn't too expensive. It worked well for her needs. A few weeks later my washer died after over 15 years of service. It just made sense to buy the same brand/model I recommended for her. So far, so good.

I have a family of four including two boys under the age of five, and clothes can get quite dirty. Since purchasing, I wash around 4-5 loads consistently every week and I've had no problems. Clothes come out clean and smelling fresh every time.

My 20 year old Whirlpool died, so I shopped for a new washer, bought this GE , pros...good price for size, washes good, cons...had to get used to it making funny noises and to set it, also loud when washing, but they said it would be, It's all good as long as it cleans like it should and it does, now hoping it lasts 20 years like the old whirlpool did.

After reading many reviews on top loading washers, I selected this washer, and I haven't been disappointed. The delivery men were right on time and very efficient (allowing me time to clean under where the old washer was before they brought in the new one)! This washer is not twisting up my clothes like my last washer, and is very easy to work. It gets the job done! That's what I wanted.

Wanted a washer that wouldn't break the bank but did a great job. This is it. Love the sensor to judge how much water to use for each load. Went from front loader to top loader and much happier. Extra large drum and a setting for any kind of load. Only reason that I couldn't give it a 5 star is because it is loud and shakes on the spin cycle but only a few minutes.

We searched for a washer where we could control the water used instead of relying on a sensor wash. We also wanted an agitator to move the clothes. The wash cycles are faster than our previous Samsung HE and our towels come out smelling clean. It is a bit loud during the wash cycle but we are okay with that and the spin cycle is a lot better than our previous washer.

I ordered another make and sent it back the same day and ordered this GE which, so far, is a great machine! Am very happy with my purchase and with the way Best Buy handled the exchange with no hassle at all! My thanks to BEST BUY!

This machine cleans very well. Much better than the fancy LG HE that we had in our old house. I like that it is customizable and has a deep fill option. The cycles are also pretty quick it only takes about 35-40 min for a large cycle to go through. My only complaint is it’s extremely loud and moves around a lot when I try to do bedsheets and blankets.

I like my new machine aside from it is a little noisier then I thought it may b....only had 4 a bit & time will tell but so far so good!!
