I love the soak and add power option. Cycles are under 40 minutes and express cycle is 15 minutes. I am super pleased with my purchase.

The delivery was on time and communicated well. The buying experience from the beginning to end was very good. As it turns out the hot and cold water were connected "opposite" but we were able to make the change on our own.

It sounds like a dot matrix printer when agitating. If you are do not mind this noise because of where your machine is located, than this is a good washer for you. I did not like how the softener left residue after washing sometimes as well.

Posted .We appreciate your purchase and would like to help. It is true that your new washer will make different sounds than your previous washer because of the new technology. You will hear clicking, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. To help with a detergent residue build-up we recommend filling the washer to the highest water level with hot water and add one capful of liquid detergent. Allow your washer to agitate through a normal wash and let it drain. Then wipe out the soap residue which has softened from the hot water and detergent. This will help. Did some looking and this is a great entry level unit. Not super fancy, but works great. Washes quickly and quietly. No problems at all, definitely recommend.
