Machine has a good capacity, cleans clothes very well and has enough options for all kinds of fabrics and load size. The downside is the lack of detergent dispenser which gives an element of measured detergent versus freestyle pouring. Still a good value for the money.

My solution is to set to increase power, let it agitate a bit and then pop open the lid for however long I want it to soak. It works but i would prefer other oprions.

When you only have a few items you have to go with large water to get enough to get the soap out and clothes clean

Posted .The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. Using the Deep Fill and Deep Rinse options will add an incremental amount of water to the wash cycle and adds more water to rinse the load. This is very important if using fabric softener. Also, be sure you are using HE detergents only and are following the directions on the detergent for the correct amount to use.
