I had an older model which started to do that, but it was already nine years old and serviced a couple of times. This new one has already done it once with a small load (which was evenly distributed); I wouldn't expect it to have such trouble. Doing more loads to try to recreate it, but if it's done it once, now I am concerned it will begin to do it regularly soon. Not sure if I would recommend this model anymore - too soon to tell. But for now, I will put Yes.

Posted .Newer washers will sound different from your prior washer. You will hear clicks, water flowing and gear sounds followed by pauses and electric humming sounds. We have a great video on our GE Appliances site and a QR code in the manual that can direct you to hear the sounds. A nice amount of wash options along with a deceptively large drum. For the price it is a greate purchase. Also not that loud either

Good machine and excellent installation
