We read the reviews that mentioned this issue but did not think it could be too bad. If you have a first floor laundry room I would recommend you do not purchase this machine. We returned and spent a little more money on a different brand and are much happier. Best Buy’s return process was amazing though.

The agitation cycle sounded like a saw going back-and-forth. The spin cycle sounded like a jet engine. Clothes came out clean, but I returned it within a few days.

Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. It wouldn't go through the spin cycle. After talking to Best Buy, I had to call G.E. to set appointment for repair. They didn't have any close appointment's, so Best Buy replaced it, after going through all the hoops. Still worry about this machine, if it's going to do the same thing!!

Ordered a replacement but apparently Best Buy lost my replacement order. Been without a properly functioning washer for 3 weeks now waiting for the replacement, but received no text alerts that the replacement would be arriving tomorrow. Logon to their site and see no pending replacement orders. Reach out to their support and they have no record of the replacement order. Their solution: want me to wait yet another 3 weeks for another replacement. All the while ignoring the fact that I have had to pay out of pocket time & money to go to a laundromat instead and now they want me to do that for 3 more weeks and don't even have the courtesy to offer to make this right in way.
