Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does the job that we need it to do. Bigger tub than the last GE we had, so we're able to fit more clothes into it, huge plus. While it's a bit louder than the last one, the various wash options and chime when it's completed make up for it IMO. Great machine!

I love this washing machine!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this machine. It is very easy to use. It has dials which I prefer, rather than electronic buttons. If is quiet and fast. It cleans clothes very well. (I can't comment on quality yet as I've only had this for a month)

Buy THIS washer - it lets you add more water.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buy THIS washer. I researched this a lot. This is the only one I found that solves the number one complaint everyone has about washers these days - not enough water. This one is the only one that has a knob for you to add more water. I also watched tons of YouTube videos on how to repair your trusty washing machine. I took mine out of the laundry room, put it outside, took off the cover and found 18 years of washing machine crud everywhere. The videos lied, it's a filthy experience that would have taken way too much of my time. Don't do that. Mine smelled like mildew, I realized that not all the water got pumped out of my machine and I walked away thinking that most people don't know how incredibly filthy their machines are inside. Just disgusting. You would never want to wear those clothes if you knew. Now i just throw the clothes in, turn the water knob up one notch and feel so much better about my clothes. The washing machine's computer knows what to do. Just let it do it's thing.

Do NOT buy this washing machine!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband bought this piece of garbage about 3 years ago, to replace a Kenmore washer that we'd had for 10 years with no issues. Though we've had it for 3 years, it's only had 2 years of use, because we had home damage due to a mainline break, that displaced us for about 10 months. This piece of junk broke this month. The problems became obvious almost immediately. It is supposedly a high efficiency washing machine, but what that means is that there's never enough water to properly clean or rinse your clothes. We found ourselves always having to do a second rinse to get the soap out. This happened with using HE laundry detergent in the proper amount. We also had to do smaller loads, because of the water issue. So much for being efficient! It took 2 times longer to get what should've been one load of laundry done, so we used more electricity, water, & precious time. There's also an annoying lock on the lid, that prevents you opening it if you forgot to add something that you want to throw in. You can pause the cycle, but it takes time for it to stop & unlock, & you find yourself twiddling your thumbs while waiting. I don't understand the purpose of this feature & wish there was a way to disable it. Within the 1st few month's of having it we started experiencing issues with it becoming off balance & bouncing around. No amount of re-arranging the clothes helped. About a year ago we started having issues with the spin cycle not always draining the water out. Within the past 6 months we've had issues with the washing machine spontaneously stopping, without finishing the cycle, with water still in it. This month it finally died altogether. We can't even get it to power up. We tried unplugging it to reset it, but when we plugged it back in, a humming noise was heard. Thankfully this happened around Black Friday, because I'll be buying a different brand that is more reliable - probably Whirlpool or Kenmore.

The best washing machine ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this washer. It’s extremely deep so I can fit so many clothes in it and it gets all the water out during the spin cycle. Like other reviews stated, it is pretty loud but that doesn’t bother me personally. I actually enjoy doing laundry now.

Good machine. Reasonably priced. Noisy at times.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Choices were limited by the space in the laundry room. This machine is on the smaller side. It replaced a top rated Kenmore from 2003. It has over a third more capacity, which is great, especially for the king size mattress pad. It uses less water, and can be programmed to do a double rinse. Water extraction is good. It has flexible options for things like bulky items. The main negative is it is noisy at times.

Good Machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great capacity, easy to operate. Sounds are different from previous machines, but that doesn't change the fact that the machine functions so well. Gentle beeps at end of cycle are almost worthless if you are in another room, but who cares? At least it isn't annoyingly loud!

Overall Good Washer

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to replace our washer of a different brand because of the mold problem in the machine. The company said it was a design flaw but took no responsibility to fix the problem. GE is a trusted brand and this washer has done an excellent job for us so far. Best Buy install went smoothly. Very happy with the service we have received.

Nice Washer. Lots of options that all work well.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this Washer for 6 weeks and have zero complaints so far. This machine offers plenty of options including the ability to open the lid while on wash cycle without hitting the pause button. Another great option is the fill level. You can choose the water level or allow the machine to decide. There are many options for types of clothes, water temperature and additional rinse cycles. This GE Washer was the closest I could find to the good ole days of non digital, multi optioned, full sized agitator machine. Bottom line: It cleans well; clothes come out fresh - from my horse barn clothes to my fine Italian sheets. I hope this machine continues to impress me. Time will tell.

Works well
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does a great job. Only complaint is that it is a little noisy. Fortunately I can shut my utility room door and that solves the problem. Love having an agitator again. Gets cloths cleaner and faster.

More than Enough
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loaded with features I likely will not even use but great for a large family. Deep tub. 4.5 cu Ft is really large. Allows for precise filling which is good for small loads.
