New washer works great and love that I can customize the settings including adding more water. No problems and have done several loads. Very large capacity fits queen comforter and sheets in one load. Even on low water settings it cleans well.

I love this washer. I do not understand why so many people are having a problem with it. I read the instructions thoroughly, I make sure I have enough water in the tub depending on the amount of laundry, and I also have watched some wash cycles to see how it is doing, and I always see the laundry going around, being pushed up and down in the tub, and all of it is getting washed. The water level default is way too low, so I always have to select more water for the wash and Deep Fill for the rinse water. If you don't do all that, you'll never have enough water for your wash and rinse cycles. The only problem I have with this washer is the end of wash signal tone is way too low, and I've tried to adjust it, but even that doesn't make it loud enough. Everything else about it is great.

I’ve had front load washers for years, and I spent a lot of time cleaning with baking soda and vinegar to keep the odor down. I decided this time to go to a top loading washer even though they say they don’t clean as well. But, this washer does clean and clean very well!! I’ve checked (though I do pretreat) and clothes are coming out great! What sold me on this GE washer was the speed wash. You can do a load in half an hour! And, I like to add the extra rinse to all my loads. Clothes are coming out as clean or cleaner than the 1 hr+ cycles! I can wash smaller loads with the speed wash and get it all done in less time than I used to with the longer wash cycles! I’m not washing clothes all day like before! Lovin’ this new washer!

While my clothes do not generally get especially dirty, I've had no problems getting my clothes clean with the normal wash cycles. I have not been adding extra water or anything. It would be nice if the alarm could be turned out louder, as I never hear it. I've had it a few weeks and will update this if I run into problems.

No problems with this machine. Large enough for blankets, quiet and energy efficient. Good buy for my money.

i spent alot of time looking for a washing machine that had a timer and that was still affordable. ive been using for about a month now and with a family of 5, laundry is done daily. clothes come out clean and the times I've used the stain features the stains have come out of clothes. my biggest need was a washer with a timer and this washer comes with a timer and also an affordable price tag.

Love this machine I had three dif models of Samsung washers and did not like them at all. No water, could not adjust the water levels to my liking. GE has made a machine like the ones I grew up with, can not say enough about the pluses you get with this washer. Thank you GE

installed quickly, we are family of 4 with 3 dogs and have lots of laundry. Just a workhorse

I was surprised to see how little water was used in the machine. The machine is efficient, and it holds a lot more clothes in a load than expected.

I'm glad I didn't listen to all the reviews that said this washer is no good. Just the opposite! The customization of each wash is amazing. You can have a mid cycle change, more water, another spin cycle, etc. Many reviews said it was "to noisy". I disagree. This thing is pretty quiet. Sometimes I go to check to make sure it's running! As long as you load the unit along the outside of the drum, there will be no uneven issues that others have noted. I use the "deep fill" from time to time, but that is honestly for my benefit. Otherwise the unit figures the correct amount of water all on its own. I really think that the bad reviews come from people that don't know how to properly use the machine, not because of the machine itself. I've done at least two dozen loads to date with NO issues. So glad I didn't listen

I read several reviews about this washer before purchasing. I like the size of the washer. It has a lot of options and you can't beat the price for what you get. It cleans well, shows the time left. It has no center agitator. I would recommend to others.

I am very pleased with this washer. It has a huge tub that allows me to wash comforters as well as small loads. The lid also unlocks at times to allow adding clothes or cleaning out the detergent cup.

Great washing machine, expect it can be kinda loud. but washing clothes amazing.

This HE washer agitates and cleans very well. There are quite a few settings that you'll probably never need to use. Keep it simple. It'll take a little bit getting used to, but once you find your preferred settings stay with about two or three of them for all your washing. Also, once the first cycle begins you will notice it takes three or four minutes where are y'all here clicking, turning and adjustments for filling the barrel and balancing. Just give it time and let it do its job. It's a smart washer. It's a great washer but don't overfill. 2/3 to 3/4 a load should be just enough.

It's a good value with nice features for a reasonable price. Nice to have user option to add water as desired. Could be quieter, then it would be 5 stars! It would probably be less obvious if the washer is located in the garage, but alas we have it indoors on the second floor.

I purchased this at the recommendation of the Best Buy sales rep. I went from a top loading agitator washer to this and I have to say, this definitely gets my clothes cleaner. I like all the extra features & stain removal options. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to get the clothes as dry as my old washer, even when using the extra spin option. Other then that, great washer!
