I thought it was going to be difficult to work but it was so simple and having the app on my phone to see when the cycle is complete is so amazing.

If that changes, this review will be updated. I washed my first load of clothes twice, because I didn't see or hear any water in the washer. As it turns out, the washer is very efficient and uses very little water. If you're not at least 6ft, don't stack the washer and dryer set. This washer and dryer comes with an app; I didn't know that. It's a nice looking gloss or shimmering white. Maybe I'll try to update my review after about a year.

I think the unit is quiet and uses way less water than my old machine. Clothes dry so much faster due to how much water is removed when spinning.

Low quality products

It stopped working a few days ago (2.5 years in use). Controls don't stay on when starting a load. We were told by the GE technician that the 10 year limited warranty only covered the motor and that we would need to pay $114 for the visit to diagnose which board has failed, and afterwards parts and labor to fix it. We told him no thanks. We will throw this thing in the trash and never buy GE again. The dryer which was part of the set, also died 18 months after purchase. We had to pay $450 to get it fixed. These products are lemons.

We were told that GE makes quality appliances. Since purchasing this washer we have not been disappointed.

The dryer is a really great one unlike the washer it is quite. My con with this one is that the dewrinkle doesn’t dewrinkle at all or unless I’m not doing it right

Seems larger than the same 4.8L capacity unit we replaced. Easy controls. Self-ventilation system is a good improvement and works.
