Other than that I love how it cooks and does not overheat the kitchen and house!!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a senior and found the stove top difficult to keep clean, and thats why i chose this type....cant just wipe off with a soapy wash cloth because it smears terribly...had to goggle an easy way to clean...cooks nicely, nice large oven and drawer for everyday pots and pans

Hot Cooktop light out after 1 month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The stove was easy to install and appears to work just fine. After several weeks I noticed that the 'Hot Cooktop' warning light wasn't working though. Raising the top I found that one of the connectors was detached from the light and had fused onto the tin shrouding. I'll attempt to contact GE for a replacement light tomorrow. Truthfully, I'm not real happy about working on a new appliance.
