Error code

Posted .We recommend unplugging the unit for several minutes to reset the electronics and to also check out the Troubleshooting Tips section on page 9 of the Owner’s Manual (which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website). -- If the issue persists, please see warranty exchange information on page 11 of the Owner’s Manual.

Wrongfully labeled

Posted .This model APYR50LC does have a built-in pump with an included hose that allows water to be drained to any convenient location up to 16 feet away. Please look on the front under the Timer control and you will see Hold 3 Sec for Pump. If you have any questions, please review the manual that can be found on our site or on Best Buys site.

Dehumidifier Operation

It is very efficient in removing humidity (although it was not connected during the late summer months). I emptied the bucket manually until recently connecting the threaded hose used on my previous dehumidifier which works fine. I have not needed to use the internal pump as yet.

Own Several - All Stop Working In Less Than 2 Year

I own several of this exact model and all have failed in less than 2 years with the exact same completely unfixable issue. If you search online you will see countless people complaining about how these stop working in under 2 years. Save your money, buy a better dehumidifier.

Crapped out after six weeks

Contacted ge who said they’d replace it using their company called Bodewell.. EXCEPT the product is no longer available through them, and no comparable item is either. Contacted Best Buy who might replace it if they can’t fix it, so it will still be at least one three hour road trip. GE is not the company it once was. Leave this one alone.

Waste of time and money

Nothing in the manual about E2 or how to trouble shoot it. I called the GE Customer Service line and they had no idea what it was. Told me to take it back and get a refund,
