Washer with variety of settings. Can dry a king size comforter. Able to dry towels evenly.

We bought, installed and started using this dryer exactly 2 yrs and 9 months ago. Last year the timer when out and we paid around $100 to fix it. Yesterday, the timer went out again. Our repair person (who's a friend) told us the first time we replaced it, that it probably wouldn't last either...and he was right. So do we put in another $100, which brings the total up to almost $600 into it, or just buy a new one No we didn't get the extended, because what product is so poorly made it goes out twice in less than 2 years? THIS DRYER, THAT'S WHAT! Don't by anything GE, extended warranty or no....you'll regret it.

Pleased with overall performance so far. Like the wrinkle care feature.

it does the job, easy to use and it has a buzzard for when it finishes

This dryer is ok but not worth the hundreds you pay. I run the dryer for its full cycle which is about an hour and then I have to add at least another half a cycle to another full cycle because the clothes are still damp.

You put wet clothes in and they come out dry. Very quiet.

Had to have manufacturing defect corrected and getting access to service was a pain.

I am amazed at how fast it dries. The lint trap is eeeeasy to empty. No goofy electronics to set each time you dry. Really huge drum and very quiet BUT it is brand new and we will see in 15 years.

I absolutely love this dryer!. It's huge to begin with. It dried 6 pairs of men's work jeans in no time using the optimal drying feature and I felt they were plenty dry. So far this pair is a home run for me and my family, but time will tell. If it changes for the worse, I will re-write my review or post a new review.

I bought this dryer as part of a pair, with the GE - 3.9 Cu. Ft. 16-Cycle Top-Loading Washer - White, Model: GTWN4250DWS. The washer spins the clothes longer, rendering them dryer before transferring to this machine. I very much like the moisture sensing. On my older similar model GE dryer, the end-of-cycle signal would sound before the clothes were all finished drying. On this dryer, the cycle dial doesn't even move as long as there's moisture in the clothing. Once it senses the clothing is dry, the end-of-cycle signal sounds. It's a nice, large capacity and could easily dry a comforter, though I haven't yet done so. The lint trap is totally made of high-impact plastic, so it can be washed clean if necessary. The older models had wire mesh, which would have rusted with washing, so the only way to clean it was with a dry brush. I wipe clean the lint trap after EVERY load and have a vacuum attachment to clean the vent area (after removing the lint trap) which I use weekly. I haven't yet had to wash the lint trap, but sometimes dryer sheets build up a bit of residue on the lint trap, so it's nice to have the option of washing it clean, if need be. Kept free of lint, I believe this dryer will continue to be a great performer for a long time to come -- and SAFE as well. I had a problem getting the right cord for this dryer, but that was eventually solved by Best Buy personnel. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

All I cared about was that it dries and isn't too loud. Well, this fit the bill after replacing an 18 year old GE that didn't dry very fast anymore and was getting very loud. This one is quiet, dries relatively quickly (at least compared to my old one) and the moisture sensor works impressively well. It never burns up the clothes and doesn't leave them damp either. Just right. I never had one that worked this well. All the dryers I've had in the past left clothes damp. I've found that the volume control on the buzzer doesn't lower the volume much, if at all, so I leave it turned off. My only concern is that the main dial seems flimsy and probably won't last too long. I'm trying to be very careful with it.

It used to take all day to get the laundry done because I always had to run clothes through the dryer cycle 2 or 3 times to get them dry. Now it takes a third of the time. I only have to run the dryer once to get the clothes or towels dry.
