Solid Dryer with a minor tweak

Overall, the capacity is nice. The clothes dry much fast and on a lower heat. I did the install myself. If you’re handy, it’s quite easy. Delivery went as planned and was quick and efficient. One note: the buzzer. It’s loud and jarring. I’ve never heard something so loud as that buzzer. On our old unit, you could switch it off. This one you cannot. That said, I found a YouTube video showing how to disable it permanently. https://youtu.be/DtCT9AVrCO0 Besides the buzzer, it’s a great unit. Durable so far as does the job.

Good Dryer with obnoxiously loud buzzer

Thankfully I had the plug on hand from hurricane prep. CON is the buzzer!!! Loud & long, so no late night drying unless you want the crap scared out of you! Used the more/less mode as well as timed and both work great & effectively. Lint trap sticks a bit when trying to pull out. Plugged in & 3 back to back loads w/no issue...another 3 loads the next day and all good. Would recommend, except for that buzzer!!

Annoying Buzzer

The buzzer is way too much! I cringe everytime it goes off. The buzzer still doesn't get us to remove the clothes any faster from the dryer!

I have had GE washers and dryers for many years and I love this brand. I had Maytag one time and absolutely hated them. As others have stated it does have a very loud buzzer on it but for me that is great. I am deaf on one side so it helps me know when the dryer is done. I would certainly Purchase again if needed.

Awful buzzer!

It seems to work ok and the delivery was fine. I had to take one star off for the horrendous buzzer. It is SO LOUD and goes off 3 times at the end of the cycle. I wish it could be turned off but, unfortunately, it cannot.

Kinda weird but, I like a light and didn't know this when I bought it. I keep a small mag light handy to check for items. Otherwise a great dryer. Kinda loud buzzer on the ending cycle but, no babies in the house.

Only issue, other than that it is a great dryer.

Very convenient and easy to use! 60 to 80 minutes work best for the dey time. After the dryer is finished there is usually hardly any lent on the lent screen most of the time.
