Full heat does not produce clothes that are warm. I have had GE service out twice, and “nothing is wrong. The dryer is working perfectly.” Next load 80 minutes and still just damp dry. I have service scheduled for April 15, but I am losing hope. I just want to dry clothes!

Would not shut off on its own

It went back along with the non-functioning matching washer. Make sure you put your purchases to frequent use within the 15-day return window. This policy is why I prefer Best Buy over other appliance sellers.

BUYER BEWARE OF BEST BUY AND THIS DRYER

After 3 weeks it all of a sudden takes 2 hours to dry a simple load of my daughter's clothes. And after 3 weeks it is no longer returnable. Thanks for nothing Best Buy and GE.

One MAJOR flaw is that the end of cycle buzzer is WAY too loud... Like it's obnoxiously loud. I'm probably going to open up the back and disconnect it since there's no option to shut it off.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the first things, don't put heavy weight items in with lighter weight items, in your washing machine. The dryer will have a harder time drying all and the heavier items will still be damp. Looong story short. Then to experiment with the different dryer settings and make notes. Yes, the end of cycle buzzer is VERY loud and long, and there is no on/off. So, What I did, was behind the front control panel, disconnected the buzzer all together. There is just one wire to disconnect the buzzer. I recommend this budget GE dryer.

Only heard the gas ignite once started heating then nothing. Looked at other reviews after the fact, alot of issues for the same thing (Possible bad switch on Door) who knows. But having an issue immediately? JUNK...! Taking back and getting something else.

Super inconvenient to use and its going to take a few days which does nothing for my baby's wet clothes. It worked well when we first purchased it so gave it 2 stars. Knobs are simple, which is the only thing i liked about this dryer. We didnt care for this machine from the first use. Also buzzer is loud and last longer then our previous machines. It typically startles my kids or any company that isnt expecting it.

I will not buy GE again, that's what I get for saving a few bucks I should have bought Samsung! lesson learned...
