After a month of regular use, seems to be a good machine. I had the predecessor for this model with 2 significant problems. First - the motherboard died after only 6 years of moderate use; and during that time, I was limited to using only the manual setting, because none (and I mean none) of the preset settings got any of the clothes completely dry. This next generation model was the only dryer available on short notice, so I am hoping for the best. So far I am happy with its performance.

We bought this dryer along with the matching front load washing machine and love them both. The appearance is great, and the large capacity has of room for our laundry. The smart phone app makes it easy for me to use, even though I am blind and I can get alerts on my phone or smart watch to let me know when cycle has completed.

Dryer works great and easy to use, quiet and the vent is really easy to open to empty.

Love it! On line independent lab tests were our source to help decide what to buy and we are very satisfied. Its also great looking!

Great dryer to match the GFW650 washing machine. We’ve had this dryer since the end of February and it been great. It’s dries really quickly, usually less than 45 minutes. The steam modes work really well for refreshing and removing wrinkles. The only minor complaint is that the lint filter is an unusual design. After removing it you have to open it to get the lint out. It’s held closed by 2 clips. One of our clips has already broken off. It doesn’t affect how it works but I’d expect it to last longer than 2 months.

Bought this along with a washer. I like the look of this however on small loads it’s a bit of a struggle as the sensor thinks the laundry is dry after 5 minutes and it takes override of this to get dry clothes. Just like the washer, the smart technology is really awesome to get alerts when your laundry is completed or add additional time through the app. I wasn’t that crazy about the color, but it looks nice with dark cabinets in the laundry room and is quiet which is ideal as it’s near the master bedroom.

Get some help with INSTALLATION, very heavy unit. Runs smooth, very quiet. Lives up to its high ratings. Remember: generally in life you get what you pay for.

We love our new GE dryer. We are a large family and we do a lot of laundry. It dries quickly, and very efficiently. I also love the sleek look.

It just works! It wasn't the matching dryer we wanted to get, but it fit into our smaller space, so we went with it. It didn't match the color of the washer we got, but who cares. It does a great job of getting your clothes dry, and the connected app tells you when the clothes are done, and if you need more time, it will allow you to tumble a bit longer so your clothes don't wrinkle. Very happy we got it!

Our first dryer with steam. So far it has been the best dryer we have owned. Wish I had replaced the previous machines earlier.

Loved it!! Honestly I was skeptical because of the bad reviews but I’ve had ZERO problems. Everyone that complains it’s too loud or it shakes didn’t fully take off the shipping bars which includes the little rubber pieces! I didn’t at first and it shook my entire house! I had to reread the manual and realize I needed to take out the shipping bolts. We staked ours and I’m 5’2/5’3 and I can reach both without an issue.
