    It’s great to be able to control your lights easily from any room in the house. However, the app prompts regularly for an update even when there is not one to be had. Also, connectivity is sometimes not the greatest.

If you are experiencing frequent app or firmware update notifications we recommend signing out and back into the Cync app. If that fails we recommend clearing the cache. If you are on iOS this can be performed by restarting the phone. If you are on Android go to settings>apps>Cync>storage>clear cache.     Dim the lights and hope it stays connected

    I have 3 of these and one constantly says no connection but the other two are perfect. The C by GE app isn't great but you only need to use the Alexa app after you get it set up.

    Longevity, and the app doesn't steal data

    They perform exactly as they should. No complaints, grabbed them for the family room. App is super simple to use and doesn't grab any of my data. So that's a huge plus

    GE Sync Smart Bulb

    Love the variations of white light (soft, warm, daylight) with this bulb. Will have to buy more!

    Not the smartest, but works well with wireless remote. The colors are nice and bright. But I will probably go back to Hue.

    A little expensive, but paired with the remote switch, a great solution to putting a switch in a closet that previously only had a motion switch.

    Connects easily to google but appears that some of the bulbs disconnect often

If you have not already done so, check to see that the devices are up to date on the latest firmware. If you are on Android try clearing your app cache in settings>apps>Cync>storage>clear cache.
