Even though our contractor installed the dishwasher, the delivery men were great. They fully inspected the dishwasher to make sure that there were no defects or damage. Excellent work!

Not a big fan. The dishes do not dry like other dishwashers. I didn’t have much to choose from as size 18 is hard to come by. I have to crack the door open to let them air dry.

It keeps breaking. Since having it installed it has been broken more than it has worked. I've only gotten about 5 weeks out of it. We are about to put in our 3rd service call. Luckily, it is still under warranty. 1st two visits were from having no power to the washer. 3rd visit was a return because parts needed to be ordered. Dishwasher has power now but the arm doesn't move and its not cleaning.

2/3 Review | Backorded Cancellation

Review 2/3: Ordered with the Memorial Day Weekend discount only for the item to be backordered over a month. Upon delivery the vehicle did not meet height regulations for building after continuous notice causing rescheduling (instead of Geeks getting smaller vehicle to fulfill service). Customer Service inadvertently CANCELLED packaged order and I had to call the next day to re-purchase lasting over an hour on the phone being re-directed to different departments. Unsatisfactory.

I like it except for the fact that you have to open the door after the wash cycle for it to dry the dishes.

Hello. We appreciate you leaving a review, and we’re very glad you like your dishwasher overall! We do regret that you’re not happy that the door should be opened to ensure the dishes dry, and we regret any inconvenience caused. This dishwasher uses a hidden heater and Condensate Dry system – the heater increases the water temperature (allowing for easier drying) and the Condensate Dry involves the walls pulling moisture away from the dishes to provide natural air drying. Your feedback regarding the drying will be shared with our team for future review and development. We’re confident the dishwasher will work well for you for a long time to come, and we're always happy to assist if you have any other concerns or questions. All the best! -Sarah@GEA

The dishwasher seems to work well, and is very attractive, however after owning it for 5 months it stinks! Every time I open the door pee-eww :(
My previous dishwasher NEVER had this problem. I tried cleaning and running w/ bleach, that worked for about a week, and it's back to stinking again. What the heck. So obviously I'm super disappointed, it wasn't cheap w/ installation and everything.

This dishwasher is sleek and attractive and has a decent capacity. Unfortunately, it creates just as much work as hand washing my dishes, which I've been doing for the last 6 years while I saved for a kitchen renovation. So imagine my disappointment and confusion when I opened the door after using it for the first time to find it SOPPING WET on the interior! I had to wipe every surface down, spin both water wheels to get the water out, and keep the door and racks opened to make sure it did not mildew. Looking at the owner's manual I saw that the Light setting did not include dry time so I thought, ok, maybe that's the issue: there isn't a dry cycle on this setting. So I used the Heavy setting. Same thing: absolutely sopping wet on the inside. I then assumed it was malfunctioning and called the GE Service line to schedule a repair. After holding for over 30 minutes I was told this is a condensate model, meaning the dishes are dried by the water being pulled away from them to the other surfaces in the appliance, supposedly as an energy-saving feature. Too late to return it, so I'm stuck with this thing. Fortunately I won't have to use it that often because I don't generate a lot of dirty dishes, but I'm beyond annoyed to have spent over $700 on an appliance that I hate, and if I can spare others from this fate I'll at least have done a good deed,

We can understand how upsetting it is when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations. This model has a Hidden Heater that will help to increase the temperature of the water during the wash cycle, which allows it to dry easier. It does not have a Heated Dry with a heating element. It uses Condensate Dry. If you turn your hot water on first, before turning your dishwasher on that will help. Also, we recommend using a rinse agent. It is our hope that the more you use your dishwasher the more you will like it.
