This fridge with auto fill water and middle drawer is perfect for what we need

I love this refrigerator. The back lighting is superb. I love being able to open the right door to get things like butter, milk or my homemade sweet tea without exposing the rest of the contents to refrigeration loss. I also like the fact that the extra-large door storage for the milk allows for a shallower shelf area on the inside. In my old side-by-side, I would lose items in the abyss of the deep shelves. When I moved the contents of my old refrigerator, I couldn't believe how many duplicates I had.

This is a great refrigerator. It is spacious and you can adjust the shelves to fit your needs. The only problem is the ice maker is slow to dispense meaning it takes a bit to fill a glass with ice. Also, the first glass of water is cold but then not as cold for the next.

This refrigerator is a great purchase. I previously owned a side-by-side which limits you on space in the refrigerator and in its freezer, especially during the holidays. I waited several years for my side-by-side to breakdown, but it is a good quality made product and it's still in working condition to this day. So I finally talked my husband into allowing me to purchase a new French Door refrigerator which I originally wanted when we bought our last refrigerator and I'm so happy with this GE brand. I did a lot of research before making my choice. This GE refrigerator has tons of space inside. We love the door-in-door option. The ice maker is very adequate for our needs and I love the "auto on" light when you walk up to the unit, especially during the night. The "auto fill" is quite a nice option as well. The ice cubes are small half moon size which I personally like better than the large half-moon size that always got in the way when drinking my beverage. The freezer has enough space in it for the needs of a family of four. I highly recommend this refrigerator. Oh, and by the way, it is soooooo quite when running and even the ice maker when dropping its ice is VERY quite. My previous refrigerator that is still in great working condition is being sold to a close friend of mine. When you buy quality it is worth the money and the product will last you a long long time. GE has a very good reputation and I hope they continue to improve on that reputation by developing products that the consumer can rely on and enjoy for many years.

We recently upgraded to the GE Profile refrigerator, and it has exceeded our expectations. The design is sleek and modern, and it fits beautifully into our kitchen. The interior layout is very practical, with adjustable shelves that make it easy to store tall bottles and larger items. The cooling is consistent, and it quickly reached the right temperature after installation. It’s also surprisingly quiet, which is a big plus. The added space compared to our previous fridge is noticeable, and the organization features like the deep drawers and door bins make everyday use very convenient. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a reliable, spacious, and stylish refrigerator.

Our favorite feature is the backlighting which we originally didn't think we wanted -- it makes a world of difference. The drawers are one solid piece for easy cleaning. The big refrigerator drawer makes it so much easier to find your favorite things. Love the door-in-a-door. Last year, I bought a Samsung fridge that looks just like this one --except you have to manually defrost the ice-maker; it's not backlit; to remove the drawers, we had to watch a you-tube video, and the drawers are multiple pieces that snap together, so there are cracks which hold condensation, add a tiny piece of lettuce and now you have mold. LOVE my GE Profile!

My rating is pending a service call by GE. If the issue is resolved, I will change the rating. Pros: Shiny. Nice and heavy (didn't fall over in the truck). Magnets work on it (unlike brushed aluminum). Good lighting, lots of space to display LEGO sets I guess (definitely don't put anything perishable in it). Cons: Does not cool things (which for $3000 you think it would). The following issues will remain true even if my lemon of a refrigerator is fixed: The installation instructions are vaguer than IKEA instructions (which do not have any words). They are poorly written and encompass several models as well as previous versions, so they include unnecessary steps. The door in door is a gimmick that is questionably useful. There is no barrier between the shelves and the body of the refrigerator, so when you open the door in door you still have access to the interior of the fridge. Maybe it helps keep cold air in a little because the opening is slightly smaller, but I doubt that it is significant. The wifi and app are utterly useless. As soon as I began having the issues (outlined below) I installed the app and connected to wifi to see if there were diagnostics available. Nope. The app requires an account and then 15 minutes later I had access to the exact same features as the control panel on the door of the fridge. No "current temperature" reading, no alarm that the fridge is well above the set temperature, no indication that there may be a problem (which there absolutely was). The following is my experience with the refrigerator, which will be updated as necessary. I installed the refrigerator on the evening of 6/3/2020 and let it cool overnight. On 6/4/2020 (evening nearly 24 hours later) the ice machine had produced 2 bins full of ice and it seemed that everything was in order, so we transferred everything from the old refrigerator. When I went to dump the second bin of ice, I noticed that the ice was thawing a little bit, but figured that was due to opening and closing the door repeatedly during the transfer process. Just in case, I put a tray of water in the freezer to check overnight. On 6/5/2020 the tray in the freezer was still water, and everything in the refrigerator was thawing. I called GE and they have scheduled a service call for 2 weeks from now, so I currently have a $3000 paperweight in my kitchen.

The refrigerator has several key features including the back light wall, temperature control in the freezer and deli draw. Cons include the ice maker ( noisy and makes smaller cubes). Location of the ice maker limits the space for medium size bottles ( catsup, salad dressings).

Great fridge in every aspect, plenty of space, silent, well illuminated, easy to clean, great design. I love how you can set the temperature of the middle drawer for different needs. The water dispenser works smoothly and the autofill is a great feature. Overall I love the profile quality and looks, there's everything to love about the fridge. I hope it lasts many years.

Great storage capacity… love the drawer, I use it as a drink center so the larger doors don’t get opened as frequently. Freezer has lots of storage capacity

It’s been four months and I can honestly say that I love this refrigerator. I had initially selected the similar LG because of the craft ice, but it was slightly larger than my space could accommodate. I’m so glad I found this GE and purchased it instead. I absolutely love the back lighting in the GE— It allows me to see items in the rear, and we don’t miss the LG’s craft ice. We like the large vegetable and fruit bins and, best of all, the center drawer where we keep canned drinks, meat and cheese. My husband easily grabs a cold drink without opening the whole refrigerator. The freezer is much larger than in our old side-by-side refrigerator and I like the door-in door where I keep dairy and condiments. Only word of caution is to be sure to close the dairy bin if you access it from the inside (not using door-in-door). One time I carelessly pushed the larger fridge door shut without closing the dairy bin and I broke the cover—totally my fault. Fortunately I was able to get a replacement fairly easily and I am now more careful. The ice-maker has worked well and has produced enough ice for my husband and me. I would purchase this refrigerator again without hesitation. Although somewhat expensive, I’m enjoying the extra features.

The 4th drawer is great as well as no fingerprint clean. The ice maker is a little unusual as it clogs very easily. Otherwise it is a perfect size and great storage.

This refrigerator has everything a family could want for the easiest and most organized access to ALL things food! I compare it to the most accessible PANTRY for cold and frozen foods. With the ice-maker and the water filter in one of the top doors, it is easy access without taking valuable shelf space in the main cavity of the refrigerator. The LED lighted back wall is amazing for making it easy to find everything. The convertible temperature drawer is a dream come true for those items I want to keep from forgetting I have like; coldcuts, leftovers, dips, and juice packs for the grandchildren. The freezer is also beautifully designed with 2 drawers and a tray in the door to help keep items organized and visible for quick selection. The water and ice dispenser is so smart and easy to use. The settings for all features this refrigerator has are easy to use and understand. The absolute must have feature on this refrigerator is the “Door in Door”. This refrigerator is absolutely a dream to use

I love this refrigerator. It has plenty of room & lots of smaller compartments for bottles & such; a shelf in the freezer to organize & it is silent. It’s very pretty. Needs a small adjustment of the doors, which are off a bit, very pleased with this purchase & highly recommend.

A+ great design, ice and water are terrific. Like the middle drawer.

The three "Bs",,,Big, Beautiful, and Bright! We love hove it fits with out appliances and kitchen. The back lit wall inside is amazing, the soft close drawers are a nice touch, it feels very high end for the price. So far everything works perfect after a month. We ordered the water filter plug since we hooked the fridge up to an RO system.

This GE Profile refrigerator has mostly exceeded my expectations. We think it actually keeps our food fresher for longer than our previous refrigerator. We appreciate the separate deli drawer with its changeable temperature and the fact that we don’t have to open both refrigerator doors to get the food/drinks stored in there. One negative: the ice maker produces very, very little (do better, GE!). It does, however, offer choice of crushed or cubed ice. Best Buy delivery was terrible. The delivery guys just wanted to drop off and leave. They tried to tell me that the fridge was level when the doors were askew and it obviously was not. Then said that we had no valve for the water line so they couldn't install that. We do have a water valve, which is in the basement and is up to code. Then requested a bucket and towel to hook up the water line, but would not wait 30 seconds while we retrieved them, opened the line, and sprayed water all over our brand new hardwood floor. Then said he could not hook it up because of water pressure in the line. It was just the water left in the line, but the valve had been turned off. (Do better BB! Get your own delivery crew rather than third-party contractors!) Be aware that the hinge on top of the door goes back from the front quite a way, so allow room for it in your height calculation.

We really like our choice in going with your model, we especially like the autofill option and the option to open the door section without opening the whole door. We’ve had it for 2 months now and no issues or concerns have come up.

Nice looking fridge with plent of space like the lunch meat drawer it is very handy. However the ice machine is very loud compared to our old fridge.
