Love all the features and large capacity. Have owned for about 2 weeks and used over dozen times. The Smart Dispense that you fill with detergent and then you don’t have to put in soap separately for every wash is great idea and comes in so,much handier then I thought. Love using this washer.

This washer is aggressively average. It does have nice features, it’s user friendly, and my clothes are always clean; all winners for me. I’ve enjoyed doing laundry as much as a person can possibly enjoy doing laundry. However, getting the clothes clean has been a nightmare on a handful occasions. I’m not sure what the issue is (if I did know, I’d fix the problem), but a couple of times this machine has had issues with the spin cycle. Either the clothes come out still dripping, or the machine spins so violently I feel like my house has been relocated to the launch pad at Cape Canaveral during liftoff. The washer has moved up to 6” on its own during a spin cycle. The linoleum in my laundry room has ripped because of it. This is an appliance where setting it to “MAX” does not end in a good time. There is a silver lining here, and that is that I’ve never had to re-wash anything, even a toddler boys poop-stained underwear. TL;DR: Buy this only if you enjoy the sensation of your house falling down around you.

We'd be happy to help with the walking/sound issues you've brought up here. Based on what you've described, this would not be a normal operation. We would recommend checking to ensure the unit's level and has not been overloaded. We also have an article on our website if you search "Front Load Washer - Walking or Vibrating" to help with this. Regarding your clothes coming out too wet, adjusting load size will help with this. There is additional troubleshooting to help in the manual on page 36, section “Clothes too wet” which can be found on the website. I am beyond frustrated with this washer! We have had 7 service calls regarding our machine with no fix in sight! This washing machine shakes our entire house, knocks so loudly we can hear it outside, squeals, squeaks, tweaks, etc!! We had it installed by Best Buy on July 18, 2025 and we have not been able to complete our laundry loads yet! Best Buy and Bodwell have given us the complete runaround from day one! We have had the unit leveled a few times. It is installed on a GE Profile pedestal and has been balanced several times while on the pedestal. Even sitting directly on the floor the machine still shook the house profusely! Bodwell came out to balance the machine and only cited the front at one time. The machine was so off balance and the technician left the machine just like that! We have asked to have our machine replaced with a brand new one and are receiving such a hard time with communications. It takes sometimes a week for someone to respond to my emails regarding replacement of our washer after I have sent several videos depicting what this machine is doing. My advice is DO NOT BUY GE PROFILE PRODUCTS AND DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY WITH A BODWELL EXTENDED WARRANTY. This has been such a convenience and no one in the company cares enough to make sure I can complete laundry after weeks without the use of my machine! Totally dissatisfied!! Too bad I can't upload videos! You need to really see how bad it looks and sounds. Photos don't do this review any justice! THEY DENTED THE MACHINE IN SEVERAL PLACES AND SCRATCHED THE BOTTOM FRONT!

GE Profile is the best. I love all the options especially the Ultra venting system. My old Ge Profile was 16 yrs old when i had to replace it. I love the set.

I purchased a GE washer on July 19, 2025, and by October 2025, it had already stopped working. A service technician came to repair it and replaced one part, but shortly afterward, the washer failed again. The technician has now indicated that both the main control board and motor need to be replaced due to error codes. I contacted GE customer service to request that the parts be expedited, given that we have already been without a functioning washer for three weeks. Unfortunately, I was informed that these parts cannot be expedited and that the order may take seven or more days to arrive. This situation has been both inconvenient and disappointing. When purchasing a new appliance, especially from a well-known brand such as GE, one expects it to perform reliably for years—not fail after only three months. The lack of urgency and limited support from customer service have added to the frustration. I hope GE reviews this case and improves both the product quality and service process for future customers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this washer!!!

I am impressed with this washer. It does a great job cleaning. It has a huge capacity! It has quick wash cycles. It washes a king quilt, blankets and the sheets all together and has zero issues. Very efficient and uses less water. It dispenses the laundry detergent which a plus when you have teens.

the washer failed on the 2nd load (1st load was empty). During the spin cycle it started to sound like it was ready to fly apart (this was back in January). called up and Best Buy directed me to GE warranty repair. took 2 weeks to get someone out to look at it. they spent 10 mins max here, order a part and scheduled an appoint for another 2 weeks out. Part arrived, i kept it for the repair person and they installed it, they did not have time to confirm that it would work so they left. It didn't, repeated th process of calling GE warranty, scheduling an appointment...so on for 3 more cycles of a person coming out, ordering parts and then arriving on some other day to install and the repair failing. the picture shows what I have had sitting in my garage for 3 weeks now while I continue to wait for the repair 3 months later. Avoid GE products like the plague. they expect you to act as their warehouse to store parts while you wait for their understaffed crew to get around to not fixing your appliance. they just suck at this.
