I didn't really shop around. The GE Profile dishwasher matched all the rest of my GE Profile appliances that are original in my now 17 year old home. Still matches perfectly, and runs like a dream.

We are remodeling our forever home and although I have not had a chance to hook this up, everything looks fantastic and we got it for an amazing price. Will hopefully have a functioning kitchen in the next month!

This is our second GE Profile Dishwasher we purchased. Our first one lasted a little over 10 years. Will continue buying this model! Our first machine lasted 10 years with heavy use. Expect the same with this new one.

We love the new layout of the rack in this dishwasher! Holds a lot and so organized. We only use it once a week, but so far it has been everything we hoped for in a dishwasher!

While this washer is effective at cleaning, it has no real drying feature. It is not even closely related to a heated dry.

We appliance the house w/ Craigslist catches. We'd get 6 months to 24 months worth of use. Enough! After a lot of research on brands, tech specs, and costs we chose the GE Profile.

Not what I expected from GE profile

Give me a Whirlpool Gold instead of GE profile. Hard to load to full capacity. No instruction manual comes with it. Limited wine glass room. It is quiet but I shouldn’t have to rearrange every time I want to add a dish or a pan. Not a big fan. bottle washer holders leave marks

Door won't stay closed!

After you fill this dish washer with dishes etc the door won't stay closed which makes it impossible to start a wash. It only seems to happen when you have a full load but I check it to make sure nothing is in the way from keeping it closed. It's very frustrating issue and I really regret buying this dishwasher. Already had a GE technician come out once and he removed those black rubber things off the side because that's what he thought was causing the issue but no I'm still having the issue. Now I have to have them out for a second time to fix the same issue. I'm sure they will eventually be a recall on this dishwasher because I can't be the only one having this problem.

Power and Maintenance

Remember to remove and clean the filters monthly. Most people occasionally wipe out the bottom if they see any debris. This machine requires removal of two filters monthly. Yep, it’s quiet but the power panel burned out after 24 months of use. As a kid I can’t remember replacing a GE appliance. They were workhorses. Not today.

Disappointed, I expected better quality

We just remodeled out kitchen and bought the entire GE Profile appliance line. Our new (1 week old) GE Profile dishwasher's bottom rack's wheels fall off constantly. You cannot even gently pull the rack out or push it in gently without the wheels falling off and then the whole rack dislocates off the door. Three of the wheels melted below the heating element. Extremely poor design. After calling in for service we were mailed replacement wheels that were a completely different design. That tells me GE must be aware of the faulty design of the original....but why didn't they replace them before selling the unit? Unfortunately I can't figure out how to install the "new and improved" wheel mechanisms. The one positive, it is extremely quiet, but I would not buy another one. I'm angry at GE. I expected more.
