I bought this so I wouldn't have to rent another cable box from my very expensive cable co for a kitchen tv..I've been paying monthly &for 2 box hook ups for years.don't waste your time with cheaper antennas, unless you're willing to settle for 'fewer stations & ones that come in scratchy or not at all. this 1 gets them all in crystal clear,& don't be fooled by the distance labels. this 60 works better than 2 65 mile 1's I tested..in the past few days I tested 6 lower priced options from cheap to almost as expensive as this 1 On 2 house level tvs ,on or facing the window do not put them on a metal surface directly).elevation Height didn't matter that much, it's placement as close to or on a window if possible did..this jasco- g.e. Ultra pro stealth 200 is 'the 1' that picks up the most & best signals available in my suburban n.y. Area. The tower is about a mile n.w. This antenna is currently sitting on my back of the house kitchen windowsill at the moment..doing a fab job of picking up all the available channels with perfect crystal clear reception..i won't miss all those extra cable tv stations I dont watch anyway.& it so terrific that I,m buying 2 more & it will drop my cable bill from over $160 p/m for a triple play package to about $67 hrs a a month for just internet & home phone with a new provider. With this..I get all the main n.y,c.& local stations for news & tv. Prigrams,it picks up multiple movie channels, comedy & oldies, just music,, Spanish & Asian stations ...I,m not attaching it/ them outside or In An attic because of my house configuration difficulties with wiring them ( old plaster walls) i might not want to stay in much longer & hire someone to do..so for now, this 1 is laying on a windowsill next to the tv & 2 more on order r on the way soon to replace what are my cable boxes.wish I could hide the wiringon but it's not possible here really ,..now,these might work differently for you in your locations ..but here for me 25 or so channels are enough& I like the channels programs!..& I,m so glad to be getting off the 'pay thru the nose by the month for tv ' grid successfully. & this lifetime warrantee, easy setup model did it! This is probably the 1 you want.it was $100 but with some Best Buy discounts I had available they're running me about $85 + tax each .thank you for stocking these Best Buy exclusives.they are so worth it.i,m thrilled. I can get tv on the computer but this is a quick easy with 1 click of the remote ,big screen option.

    Good Antenna

I purchased this in order to cut the cord...My home is about 65 miles away from the signal towers...just beyond the reach of this antenna. I did get good results on all towers that were closer, but ended up needing an antenna with a longer distance. This is a good quality antenna and is very unobtrusive compared to others on the market...

Tried Various Antennas including mohu. The key to any antenna is placement and direction. I am using this indoors and i live at least 15-20 miles away from the major stations. Assuming you found the sweet spot , this antenna performs 100% better than Mohu leaf.

GREAT reception indoors! EZ to install!

DirecTV decide to mess with our local NBC affiliate, so we fixed DirecTV. This product is lightweight, easy to install (includes ~ 8' of coax cable), and works just fine indoors. We are located 35 miles from the local TV station signals and live in the foothills, so line of sight is iffy... but this works great indoors, despite our location. Signal is so strong, we mounted it on the wall behind the TV (out of eyesight) and returned the 50' coax cable we purchased for outdoor mounting. Took less than 30 minutes to install.

Far worse than my Insignia flat indoor antenna

Wow, I was expecting so much more after reading the reviews. I really liked it's non-typical-antenna like appearance. I think maybe that's why I ignored the many negative reviews. I intended to place it either outside or in the attic in my garage. It was so easy to assemble and test that I thought I'd first try it in my living room. I hooked it up, plugged in the amp and started channel surfing. This antenna was purchased to replace a 1 x 1 foot indoor antenna that pulls in about 23 channels, sometimes some have minor pixelation. The stations it pulls in are from 10 to 28 miles in distance. The broadcast towers vary in location by roughly a 60 degree range with concentrations primarily at 360 and 100 degrees. My first run with this new antenna netted me 2 stations. So, I moved it to another local. 3 stations, 2 different and 1 the same as the first try. I moved it again and changed the orientation. Still no luck. I continued this process for about an hour. I find that this is a HIGHLY directional antenna. Moving it every so much in one direction or another caused me to lose the previous setting. In terms of quality the unit appears well made. However, I paid $90 and I just can't see the value in the product. There's just doesn't seem to be enough product or technology to justify the price. Based on it's inability to work well in my home I'm not about to start climbing ladders and hope for the best. Add the poor value proposition and I'm choosing to pack it back in it's box and return it. I do not recommend this product.

Read reviews thinking this would work better than an indoor antennae and receive more high quality channels. Not so. Placed outdoors on exterior of house and only received 3 channels. My indoor antennae receives 10+. Not happy with this product but out of return policy for refund. I do not recommend this product.

    Check the fcc.gov website

I purchased an indoor table top amplified digital antenna and get 27 stations within 40 miles. It was on sale for $25. and made by RCA. It picks up 1080p, 720p and 480p stations at 120 hrz and works beautifully! It does look like an old set of rabbit ears on the bookcase next to the television but I choose to think of it as a "retro" look since I'm saving $100+ in cable bills. I have 3 paid streaming services that cost me $30 per month and I buy about a bluray DVD per week when on sale. Yes, If a storm comes through the quality of the signal from stations broadcasting further away from me loose clarity. This is rare. The fcc.gov website has a feature that allows you to put in your street address and it advises you of the best antenna based on your location by GPS. The US has been mapped for altitude and the site knows your proximity to the nearest stations. It advises you as to whether you need a roof, attic mounted or, as in my case, can use an indoor antenna. Next check out the reviews based on the antenna you need. This is a simple process and equipment can be returned if it doesn't work basedone on store policy. I saving money and don't miss infomercials! I just find a movie or television show or news show to stream and don't waste my time channel surfing. Good luck!

Zero stars is not an option. Picked up exactly 1 station that is 3 miles away. Indoor antenna picks up 31 channels. Don't waste your time on this antenna.

Live 46 miles from Chicago's broadcast antenna. Try on two TVs to make sure, with antenna both inside and out. NOTHING!
