Customers are saying

Customers regard the UltraPro Bar HD 400 Indoor Amplified Antenna favorably for its picture quality and ease of use, with many also appreciating its compact size and attractive design. However, a significant number of users reported issues with reception and signal strength, leading to some dissatisfaction. While some found the channel selection adequate, others felt the price point was not justified by the performance. The antenna's setup was generally considered straightforward.

Gets tv a really great picture provided you are close enough to broadcast towers. Occasional interference, but a great alternative to cable. Gets some neat channels.

The antenna works great! It is the first HD Antenna I have purchased and I am thinking about getting a second one for my office! The picture is great and easy to set up.

When I bought the atenna, I expected to be able to see 60 channels. I was only able to see 5. At the very least, I wanted local channels to come in clearly, but no. THe only channels I got a stable signal from were QVC and the Home Shopping network. A real disappointment. When I came to return it, they told me that it is hard for Salem residents to use indoor antennas, and that outdoor ones work better. That advice came too late.

This antenna was easy to set up and gets great signal here in the suburbs. The low profile design lets it blend in easily.

The attenna generally performs well. It does seem to take a minute to "warm up" to lock onto the signal after turning on but then is good. Every once in a while a channel will not come in that came in before.

Just hooked this up and scanned and its pulling in quite a lot of channels locally! I'm very impressed with the quantity and quality! This may end up saving me money after-all - getting closer to say BYE-BYE cable bill! There may be better antenna's but this ones good for starting or TV's that maybe are not the most watched TV's.

I've been able to get pretty good quality pictures on local channels just by having the antenna by the tv. Some channels don't come through too well. But I think different placement will correct that issue.

I live in central Delaware and still manage to get clear reception on about 8-10 channels. The bar is neat and very easy to set up. I have mine on the window sill for the best possible reception. Free tv.

The box says will receive signals up to 35 miles away. I needed one that gets a signal of only 15 miles, so I figured this would be perfect. Wrong. The signals it does get are sub par at best, and I can't get some channels at all. Should have bought the "best" one.

I looked at several antenna's and glad I picked this one. For the money it really puts out a good picture. The area outside my home is fairly open so that definitely helps.

This is a decent antenna if you are tired of cable. Free local channels and in full HD. The only drawback is it can draw a lot of interference, which is to be expected. All in all 50 plus channels free!

I'm within 7-10 miles of towers in Houston. My TV location seems to be in an area of interference so I bought this amplified antenna hoping it would bring in at least the local broadcast stations. Sadly, it only brought in two of the four major networks and a couple minor channels even after moving it all around. If a TV is in a high interference area I think an outdoor antenna is perhaps a better fit.

I bought this to try and get local over the air broadcast TV channels to avoid the need for cable TV. The antenna works fairly well. I use it in Iowa City. It gets 4 channels fairly well and a couple other channels if conditions are just right. Can be frustrating sometimes. Storms and clouds effect the ability.
