Customers regard the UltraPro Bar HD 400 Indoor Amplified Antenna favorably for its picture quality and ease of use, with many also appreciating its compact size and attractive design. However, a significant number of users reported issues with reception and signal strength, leading to some dissatisfaction. While some found the channel selection adequate, others felt the price point was not justified by the performance. The antenna's setup was generally considered straightforward.

Clear picture, but doesn't always pick up the same channels. If you don't watch it often, you will need to perform another channel scan, sometimes it takes a few tries. Depends on a lot of factors, but if you are not that into broadcast tv and have some patience, you could save on your cable bill. Though, I don't see myself using it for a very long time.

Product works as expected and the slim design is a nice feature vs. larger, more square models. The price is competitive. Only draw back is that the cords (power and a/v) included are not terribly long, so the TV, power source and wall mount position need to be near to each other.

I purchased this antenna for my daughter when lives in Fort Worth. She has s able to receive over 50 signals wi h about 40 being English stations of interest. Only problem is two of the major networks are too remote to receive a usable signal. Still, I would recommend this device.

I bought one of these a couple of months ago to try out. I was so impressed with it that I went back yesterday and bought 3 more for our other TVs. The product is sturdy but sleek in its design. It can lay flat near the TV and not be an eyesore like some other antennas. Setting it up is a cinch and I'm very happy with the reception it provides for local channels. Since we have an apartment separate from our home, I plan to buy more so that we can finally cut expensive cable out of our monthly bills. Well worth the initial, one-time cost in what it will save us in just a few months without cable.

We recently got rid of cable tv and went with streaming and over the air antenna for local stations. We live about 40 miles from the nearest tv station and needed a boost in our antenna power. While not 100% reliable, we still get glitches in reception, this booster has definitely helped.

I wasn't sure what I would be getting as this was my first hd antenna purchase. It picks up about ten channels with crystal clear hd. However it does get bogged down on some channels meaning it displays then flickers in and out then freezes on a frame. Then you have to change channels.

This antenna was recommended by a friend and was not easy to find in the store. But when I set it up at home, it was much better than many of the other antennas I've tried. Well worth the price for what you're getting. I don't think any other antennas in this price range actually deliver on the range promised but this model does!

The unit is not good at securing multiple channels, without repositioning for each. It performs best elevated and near a window.

As the manufacturer, we are very interested in supplying consumers with a quality product that delivers the expected performance. This over-the-air antenna has a sleek black design. It either lays flat on a surface or can be hung on the wall. It picks up and amplifies TV signals and I found new stations that I did not have before. You still have to find the best placement for optimal reception.

I guess it is better. I have a bunch of trees and I still have a problem with reception on one channel and I don't believe it is this antenna. My old one was cheaper, but I am confident this newer technology and the fact that it plugs in, it should be better. Go for it.

Since I live 60 miles from TV stations this antenna does the job - most of the time. It's in an upstairs room well above the terrain and foliage. But there are times when atmospherics win over the TV signal - to be expected given the distance from the transmitter.
