Best height for GE frontloaders

We purchased the washer/dryer combo and a dishwasher 7/28 and now as of 8/14 it has not been delivered! I’m so angry. First time the delivery guy said we needed plumbing fixed plumber said not true. Second time we had an appointment but a glitch happened on their end and no appointment is available. Lastly today they said it’s on the truck headed to out house now five hours later still no delivery. It’s 6:30 pm est so I guess I will cancel and take my $3,000 elsewhere!!

Useful, hard to set up, noisy

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The extra 7" of height provided by this pedestal makes it easier to load and unload my Ultrafast Washer/Dryer Combo. Getting the machine off the ground also helps when it comes time to drain the water pump filter for cleaning, since there's more room to position a container to catch the water. However, the very sticky rubber feet and the narrow access between the pedestal and machine make it difficult to make fine adjustments when leveling the combo. Front-load machines spin very fast, so precise leveling is critical. Even if you pay for a professional install, sometimes fine-tuning will be needed after the fact, and it's hard to do with this pedestal. Finally, the front panel appears to only be attached to the rest of the pedestal at the 2 upper corners. This leaves the panel free to move at the bottom edge. During spin cycles, this results in loud shaking and creaking noises. I'm considering using double-sided foam tape to secure the panel. I have this unit because it came free with the purchase of an Ultrafast Combo. At the full MSRP, I don't think it's worth picking up. If you need the extra height because of limited mobility, it's the only option available.
