If your are a gears fan, then this remastered version for Xbox one is a must own. Outstanding graphics and game play! A must own for all console gamers!

I'm glad they bumped up the resolution to 1080p, upgraded the graphics and running the game in 60fps. Everything looks and feels much so much smoother.

i have played the original gears of war for the xbox 360 and this one adds more content and looks more updated to keep up with the next gen! great job!

Ever since gears came out I was hooked. Wish they made a special edition Xbox one with the remake of GOW 1, how they did with Gears Of War 3 Xbox 360.

Amazing remake with added gun camos and characters. Easy to learn hard to master. Shotgun uses hybrid aiming, some people will have trouble with this.

Great game with amazing graphics when compared to the original. 60 fps makes a big difference but I just wish the shotgun was a little more consistent

I had played Gears of War when it initially came out on the Xbox 360 back in 2006. It was a lot of fun then (albeit confusing story in campaign) but the visuals and the gameplay were fantastic. This remaster updates the visuals while remaining true to the original in every other way. I prefer some of the sequels, but those are included (in their original form) with this purchase as well! Also included are levels that were present in the PC version but not the console version! A great game to revisit / the best way to play for the first time. Excellent job.

Brought back great memories. Took a couple minutes to remember the control scheme, but it was like riding a bike. Just hate waiting for games to download to be able to play. Seems like going backwards.

Played the beta and its just amazing, I have been playing these games on 360! They're just great, you won't stop playing. Online mode is just epic!

Better than the original. Graphics is near next-gen and the extra content is fantastic, its like playing it for the first time. OUTSTANDING GAME!

I've enjoyed the revamped graphics that was done for this game, and same goes for the 60fps update. Fresh look, but same classic, nonstop action game that a definitely must buy for Xbox one owners.

Great remake of all the old Gears Of Wars games in one package!! The game looks awesome updated!!! Plus there are some new missions to play.

This game is great, definitely a remaster that is well done. If you played the original then it is very true to that edition and worth the upgraded graphics and game play not to mention the additional new content. If you never got the chance at the original then this is a bargain and will show you what all the hype is about with this series.

This is a great upgrade of the original. The campaign mode has extra clips. The online mode looks better and some maps even got a makover.

Wow looks amazing in signing HD!! Can't go wrong w buying this. If you liked it on 360 you're going to love it on Xbox One. Worth the cost.

Gears of war, one of the best shooters of all-time. Back in HD in 60 FPS. Game is so much fun, better with a friend. Absolute classic!

I played all of the Gears Of War games as they came out, and I actually wished they hadn't stopped making them. I was very excited when the game was remade, especially for a cheaper price.

I've been playing gears for years. This game is the reason I bought an Xbox 360. So happy that it's been re-designed for the Xbox one.

Gears of War is really one of my top series that I enjoy. So far game operates as it should. Graphics are great and controls are smooth. I was really torn between 4 and 5 stars. I am a little disappointed that they did not update 2 and 3 to go with this (not to worried about Judgement), though I am happy that they have decided to include the other games for backwards compatibility. Four games for 40 bucks (32 w/ Gamers Club) how can you go wrong. If you haven't played any of these, you really need to pick this up.
