This is a great product and works wonderful for business

I waited far too long to purchase the Apple TV. I currently only use it to stream the content from my Apple Macbook Air (using AirPlay) to my HDTV and to enjoy those HD screen savers that are absolutely stunning. A "must have" product for those seeking at least the opportunity to view their small device's content on a big screen.

The Apple TV itself is everything that was advertised, but I want to say that I love the deal I got on the Geek Squad Refurbished model. Unless you just need to open a sealed box to satisfy some other need, why pay full price. Good as new unit, and once you open the box and set it up, no way to tell it wasn't brand new when you bought it.

I love the new remote that comes with the gen 4 AppleTV.

Works great. Good features. Better than anticipated.

We have used Apple TVs to share our company Mac & IPad screens on TVs in our conference rooms. The entertainment options are secondary to us. The thing that is really missing is the ability to share screens from window's-based systems. I would love to see Apple introduce the option to use the standard Miracast protocol or at least an official app that would allow these devices to connect via airplay.

Finally the Apple TV gets the promised update from 2011, but much of it feels like a last minute solution instead of another "revolutionary" device. Also, all the reviews promised a remote that was easy to use and play games with but it isn't the usual fluid Apple device and my son and mom have trouble with it. I don't have the game controller so I don't know if this would at least make gaming easier.

Like every other apple product I've owned, the Apple TV is great quality and has good compatibility with other apple products. However, without the airplay function (if you don't want to use it for airplay), I'm not sure I'd shell out this much for a streaming device.

It looks brand new and after a few months I don't have any issues yet.

I avoided replacing my old apple tv only because I didn't want to pony up for the difference vs an amazon fire. I finally did. I appreciate how well it works with my other apple devices and I really like the new search function on the remote with Siri.

It is very useful if you have an iPhone or iPad. I use it everyday to cast my iPhone video. If you don't have an iPhone or iPad, you should not buy it because its standalone function is pretty week compare to the Fire TV, which I used for a really long time.

I had a previous version of Apple Tv, actually the very first version, which we had trouble with on several occasions. This one installed flawlessly. The ability to install apps was a big plus for me. I am very pleased so far.

I own a few of the previous Apple TVs. It had been years since they upgraded the device. It's more expensive, and for the most part worth it. I don't play games or shop online but do like the enhanced experience, additional channels and eventually 4K option. Keep an eye out for refurbished versions to save some $.
