I have other streaming devices (chromecast, amazon fire, and roku). Picked up the apple tv 4th gen refurb on clearance for a low price from Best Buy. Currently its my favorite streamer. I have iphones and ipads in my household and they work seamlessly with the apple tv. I like the touch screen remote. Works well, maybe not as speedy as a normal d-pad style, but descent. The one thing I didn't realize I missed from my other streaming devices was audio control. The 4th gen apple tv remote has volume control and worked out the box with my Samsung 4k TV. Other features I like are Bluetooth audio support. Gaming is OK. Had about 10 games already purchased that were compatible with Apple TV (ie: no airplay required). They games use the remote touch pad and are fun, but nothing compared to a console. 64 gb also might be overkill. Even with having a healthy app selection as I do I think only a few gigs are taken up. Heard the apple tv uses the extra space to store offline content to make things faster, but not sure the average user would notice the difference between the 32 and 64 gb versions. Only issue I had was registering the device. The bluetooth method via iphone lost connection constantly and using the manual method just timed out. Ended up not registering during the initial setup and logged into my account afterwards. No issues since. Overall its speedy, is highly compatible with my TV setup, has volume control. and allows me to airplay my phone. My former favorite streamer was roku due to the app selection, but now I prefer the 4th gen apple TV in my living room. Definitely recommend it.

Got this at a great price and it also had the option for a warranty. Which I got of course. This device is useful because I have an Apple ecosystem(iPad, Macbook Pro and a iPhone). I appreciate the convenience it provides when I want to view things from my devices, on a big screen. Just click the AirPlay button and voila. But if i didnt have the ecosystem then I wouldnt have purchased the apple tv. It has a cool remote and all but it doesnt provide 4K content and its quite costly if you buy it full price. I would recommend this to other Apple owners. Siri works great, best way to wireless transpose content on your devices to a larger screen and the refurbished models are set at a good price and comes with no issues(well mines didn't). The hub had some scratches but I really didn't care. The remote looks like and works like its brand new.

I recently found that Apple TV 4 finally support Sling TV service which I previously used on Fire TV, plus it is possible to put many other services on it including Russian TV which was pretty important for me. So, when I saw a deal for $109 I had no doubt - I want it. Delivery was fast and I use it already more than a month. Saying shortly - I'm enjoying it. Quality of picture is amazing, remote is nice and easy managing. My next expectation for this device - to apply Kodi. Comparing to Apple TV 3 the new one is a step forward. Hope it will work long enough, like my other Apple staff:)))

I purchased this AppleTV to replace my 3rg Gen AppleTv. This was the best decision I made all year long! (Ok that's a little dramatic, but everyone in the family LOVES the new 4th Generation model) I bought the refurb because of the price for the 64GB was too good to pass up. It came in quickly, as usual. Easy to setup and use. I LOVE using Siri to search for movies & shows. The games that can be played by the kids are also a plus. I LOVE the new screensavers. The other great thing is that the remote is chargable with a lightning cable. No more changing batteries in the remote! The charge last for several weeks before needing to be recharged. All in all Apple has done it again. But wait there's more... JK but I do have one issue. There is no 4K support. Kinda weird since everything is moving that direction. I guess that's just going to be another VERSION to buy. I haven't purchased a 4K TV yet so it so it really isn't an issue, YET.

Love the remote. Simple to use. Being able to do airplay is amazing!

I use Apple TV to watch Acorn streaming, Netflix, Amazon video, HBO now, and use Airplay to view my photos and video currently on my iPhone. The AppleTV I received was just like brand-new. Great buy!

This is a really good product is terms of running TV related apps. After have tried other units such as android box or roku, I think this one is better. One MAJOR thing that should be noted, this version does NOT support 4K.

Apple has done it again. Although it took some time to research it is an Apple 4th generation. I needed that to get certain apps I wanted. The touch pad on remote is very nice. Way easier than Roku. Mirror casting is nice from your IPad. Love the Ariel screen saver It has and other pictures. Picture is sharp, crisp. Oh yes and the refurbished was just like new. No problems. Ship tracking was nice too, didn't take long at all.

Item purchased as an "Open" Box and you can not tell the difference other than a sticker on the outside of the box. Everything was included inside the original box. No issues with the unit so far. I bought this to replace the last generation Apple TV we had. We love the new interface which allows you to speak your selection. Airplay from other apple devices works well also.

Finally the Apple TV has a real App Store. The games look gorgeous on your television and the intergation with all you apple product Makes this one of the only seamless streaming boxes on the market. Definitely a five-star product but no 4K makes this a 4 star. Airplay is the finest available. I bought this certified refurbished and it works and looks brand new

very impressed so far bought 2 to be the hub for my apple homekit. both looked brand new out of the box. worked as advertised. wasn't allowed to buy an extended warranty through best buy which surprised me because it seems i remember another review saying he was able to. great price for the refurbished.

Other than having to google how to use the remote to make selections on the screen, it is one neat device!

I had an generation 1 Apple TV that was constantly resetting while using it. This newest one is great. Much faster with a better interface. The remote is a huge improvement as well. The ability to slide through menus and use Siri is great. I also like that the remote is rechargable.

This Apple TV is the real deal. Much better than the previous generation. Remote is good and if you can get refurbished for a good discount I recommend you jump on it. Quick start up and easy to use!

This is a refurbished device that could easily be considered new. Excellent device for a super price. Great upgrade from previous version, that will be even better when tvOS 10 comes out this fall.

I have always liked apple TV's. I owed two gen 2 and one gen 3. I didn't see a reason to upgrade to the gen 4, but after giving away one of my gen 2's to my parents and found myself needing a new one I decided to give the gun 4 a shot. I was completely taken back about how much more there was to gen 4 than gen 3. The options you get, apps available and the siri remote are all vast improvements They make the Apple TV have more value and use. The speed and smoothness of the entire eco system is amazing as well and such a leap forward Apple. I can't wait to see what comes with the next big update!

Easy to set up and add to existing tv. Works as advertised, price point worth getting the reconditioned model

First, this was an open box item but in good condition. I origi Malloy wanted it to drop Time Warner, but downloading each station app and logging in or creating an account is not what I expected. Not a easy TV substitute so I use it for Netflix and Youtube, but also like Airplay from idevices. Syncing music, photos is seemless and so is screen mirroring from MacBook. Can also Airplay from Amazon Prime videos until the native app comes out. Some gaming is good to pass the time.

Ordered this as a gift, but I know that this will meet all expectations. Item arrived promptly and undamaged. Not yet put to use, but anticipate an easy set-up and hopefully no issues!
