slight glitch w/repair on my computer @ 1st, but repaired my old dinosaur in the end.

The Geek squad is awesome, always there when i have a question. They will walk you thru any issues you may have and if it can't be fixed over the phone, it will be taken care of in-store.

For a minimal fee, this service is worth it. Just the peace of mind is good to have.

Cannot say enough about the squad. They have been helpful and kind. Usually a quick turnaround to get items back. They fix everything! Worth the membership

I find it very useful. I am not a computer expert. So, this 1 year tech support saved me many computer headaches. The Geek Squad has always been there for me.

I have had the protection for the last 21/2 years and have not had any problems. I will keep getting it until it does not work on my computer. I do save a lot of money by getting this.

I love the idea of being able to take my other laptops to get cleaned up for free. Also, it covers other maintenance that would cost hundreds if purchased every-time you needed it.

I love the geek squad and a very useful in the time of need. Is very good when you can't figure out what's going on and you could give Best Buy geek squad a call! Highly recommended

Overall, I have found the service to be good in the first month. However, I have found that some of my questions were left unanswered by a tech support member. For example, one employee could not resolve a software issue when I asked for a solution. There was a certain program that would always boot up along with all of the other startup software; I needed to know how to toggle it off. Ironically it took me all of five minutes at my home searching tech forums (outside of Best Buy's site) for the answer. Apparently, Windows 8 has a new startup tab in the task manager that lets you manage all of your startup programs. In short, don't expect your problems to be resolved by the first tech member you speak to. Each of them are limited in their knowledge, because no one is perfect. Other than that, the service is decent, and a good way to keep your PC software and firmware in check; especially if you aren't tech savvy like myself.

Have not had to use it but would recommend, especially for the high end laptops.

I am glad I took the insurance and used the geek squad to set up my new Sony TV. They were super friendly, answered my questions and took away the packaging. I'm a fan!

I suggest that anyone making a tech purchase at Best Buy add an investment in Geek Squad. It will save lots of headaches and will give you confidence in using your new technology.

Fixed all the problems and cleared up bugs that were slowing the computer to a near halt. Very comforting knowing we are covered for all of our computers, plus they come to you.

Great customer care if you can get an appointment when you need their support.
