The one-year Geek Squad membership was an incredible product. I always found the Geeks to be extremely helpful, courteous, professional, and well-trained and well-versed in my hardware/software issues. Furthermore, the package applied to three computers, so my laptop, which needed some tweaking right out of the box, was covered. I cannot say enough good things about this service and highly recommend it. Online, on the phone, or via email Geek Squad is there for you!

I just LOVE Geek Squad. I buy it every chance I get for any of my electronics. They are always nice. They always explain what they are doing. I never feel uncomfortable. And they get the job done instead of thinking I can do it.

My old computer is on its last legs. I am hoping to limp it along for a few years more. I like that I can tag 3 pieces of equipment onto this service for one price. However, the price is high in my opinion. I just don't want to have to deal with doing the service myself, so I paid the money. No issues so far.

The service sucked, I expected more from this service. I'll never trust them ever again. Too add to this when I started my computer after getting it back they'd left some crazy software in my drive that caused me so many problems until my husband told me their was something in my cd/DVD drive

I am really happy i bought my membership to the geek squad because i had a few problems with my new laptop/tablet that i just recently bought and they were able to fix my problems. It took a few tries and around a half an hour to finally fix the problem but in the end i was pleased with them & their service.

I was having several issues with my computer and was ready to chuck it. After buying this policy, I had Best Buy clean up the computer. It's been running like a dream. This week something new is happening to it (shuts itself down). It's good to know that I can have it checked out without paying more money.

I took my out of warranty laptop into store for assistance getting it back up and running. Geek Squad member was very helpful and took care of my problem. Because of his attitude and help, I purchased the Tech Support Membership. I watched the same tech help another customer last July who was having laptop problems. He was very patient, helpful, and polite to that customer and that is what drove me back to the same store for help. I will continue to shop the local Best Buy due to the excellent Geek Squad support.

I am not very technologically advanced and it has been so nice to have them to install programs and assist me with any questions without hourly charges. I also really like the fact that I could include up to three computers on this plan. I had an older laptop and they were able to update that for me as well.

The agent was very friendly and helpful. He suggested several different options that I could take to get a computer fixed which was nice. The only thing that bothered me was that he didn't know what Pinterest is...that's a little concerning for someone that is a computer expert. Still great service though.

I absolutely love the Geek Squad Tech Support. I originally purchased a 1 yr subscription that covered 3 devices (for the 3 new computers in my house). After my first experience with them, I went back to the store and changed to a 3 yr subscription. My advice to you is to skip the people who answer the phone & skip to an agent on the next level up. The people who answer the phone don't even sound computer literate in my opinion. My rating is for the second level agents NOT the people who answer the phone.

I have always used Geek Squad support for my " go to " problems with my computer or TV. I haven't been given an answer that didn't solve my issues. They are always friendly especially when I tell them I'm "technology challenged. A calm demeanor and informative answer is always presented.

Brought PC in for Maleware as I was completely locked out. In store tech got me access, but I still had issues. Phone tech was able to run some scans and get things back on track. I did also need to spend time on the phone with McAfee to finish the job, but I believe Geek Squad got me as far as they could.

Geek Squad tech service is great for everyday questions or super difficult ones too. You may not use it often but as they say...Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Bundled together with a PC or Mac purchase you get a great deal & virus protection as well. A + in my book.

Anytime I don't have to mess with loading software or anything else, sign me up! They will also troubleshoot my older laptop for free (it covers pre-existing computers too!), so I plan to take that in as well so my kids can use it to play games. They could have warned me about Windows 8 though, and maybe given more instruction on it - or any instruction at all would have been nice! Windows 8 is not easy to use, and nothing at all like any previous Windows versions. I may have to go back for a tutorial!

Always purchase this service at Best Buy when purchasing a new system, you just never know . . . and I am glad I did every time! The Agents are always more then helpful and go above and beyond. The over the phone agents are great, too, but sometimes are only available via instant message over the computer (sometimes you just wish you could talk to them on the phone, but its not always available).

I took my pc which became infected with the FBI virus to The Geek Squad for repair. When it was returned it functioned once more, but the anti-virus software slows my once fast internet speed down to a crawl. All the associates in the store seemed friendly, understanding, interested in resolving my problem and knowledgeable. The machine functioned when returned, but another trip there will be necessary to check the software issue. I believe the Geek Squad service is a worthwhile investment for most.

For a one-time price, was able to get several things done to my PC with no additional cost for installation of hardware and software. Also have the option to contact by phone for support from home, which I have already used twice. Great service for the price, especially since it's good for a full year!

It's smart to get a warranty and back-up plan; however, the price of this one was a little bit outrageous. In my experience, the Geek Squad always completes what they set out to do; however, they never finish it when they say they will.

They are usually very courteous and helpful. I bought the extended warranty and took the computer in for some adjustments. This did not get done and I was given a phone number to call. I use AOL and the store could not log on that day. I still need adjustments on the screens and fonts on this computer.
