if i didn't but a more advanced macbook pro, the protection plan would have been considered even more expensive.

The geek squad has always answered my questions quickly and in a way that I could easily understand.

The geek squad was easy to set up..although I have not had to use it yet. It seems easy and straight forward.

When a computer glitch happens it is comforting to have someone knowledgeable to correct the problem. The side benefit is the suggestions and explanations that the squad member provides.

I had an issue with my MacBook within the first week of purchase & Geek Squad was very helpful and painless

They have bailed me out so many times when I have had a problem. Not d a just 8- 5 but 24/7 365 days per year. In fact I had a problem on New Year's Day at about 6 am and they were there to help me.

I loved having the ability to purchase this one year protection plan, otherwise I would have had to pay out of pocket for my computer repairs. So, having this plan has soared me a real financial headache.

My daughter crashed her hard drive on her MAC Pro. We decided to let the Geek Squad take a look and they offered a 1 year tech support membership to fix or download software on up to 3 computers. Can't beat this deal!

I love my Geek Squad. I tend to break things, technologically and physically. Geek Squad is there for me with either. They fixed my computer when I got a virus and when I broke it. Don't leave the store without it.

Geek Squad never makes me feel stupid when I ask stupid questions ! haha! I try to explain my problem and they are always nice and friendly and reply with either another question or try to explain why I'm stuck .

I've taken my computer in twice for minor issues, they took care of it very quickly, answered all my questions without making me feel like a dummy. The techs are all very friendly and know what their talking about.

I am really hard on technology in general and my 4 year old computer was diagnosed as having a fried motherboard. They diagnosed it for me and I was able to buy the necessary parts that they could replace them in my computer. I haven't gotten the final product back because they are installing all of my software now, but all of the hardware has passed the tests so far. It was definitely more expensive than I would have preferred, but I still spent less than taking it somewhere else or buying a new computer. They took way too long to diagnose the computer, but they installed the new parts quickly so overall not too bad there. I was disappointed that not all Best Buy stores will replace a motherboard, I ended up paying more to ship the parts to NY while I was travelling and the Best Buy there said they couldn't replace them. I would ask the limitations of the Geek Squad at your location before you buy the Tech Support because I would have had to pay more for someone else to do the labor if they wouldn't. The El Paso location did the work no problem though so I was happy.

Best use of money! All of the computers that I have had I have got geek squad and it has really paid off. I spilled coffee on my keyboard and because they couldn't fix it they just replaced my whole computer!

We previously had some issues with the Evansville store. Fortunately they have had some staff changes.

The process was love/hate. There were a few agents I wanted to strangle and a few that actually gave good service. They all were trained to follow the company policy and that was probably the problem. As long as your problem was easily identified there was not a problem. I was satisfied with your service, but would not be against trying someone who would be a consistent contact. Your emails from company did not mesh with the local store representatives. Once the a technician called me up to the window and then left to go in the office. In the meantime while I stood waiting, 4 other people behind me in line were served and gone. I became irate and then was served; but before I left had to ask to speak to the person who called me up. I explained my frustration and they gave a reasonable response, but I should have not needed to ask for it! so much for the customer is so precious to your business. This is a common problem I find these days, your only as good as the employee who represents you. All the commercials, promotions etc. cannot change the individual interaction.

I've used Geek Squad twice and they did a great job each time...working with computers all day, I don't have time to do all the tech support at home so this addition to our purchases is well worth it for me!

Havnt had to engage tech support yet but it is nice to have this feature available in case required.

This would be good if I were to actually use it but the computers never break within the first year.

These folks know their stuff. Only downside is that they are often backed up.
