    There are several wifi surge protectors out on the market. I truly love this one has 4 outlets and 2 USB ports that all can be programmed along with Alexa to turn on and off. I am going to purchase at least two more of these surge protectors.

    Only Good For 2.4GHz Networks

    This might be a good wi-fi power strip if you can separate your 2.4GHz signal from your 5.0GHz and essentially make two different networks. For me, that wasn’t an option, so I returned it to the store.

      Hi! I can totally understand how disappointing it is. I know it could have better if the Sales Representative told you about the general system requirements before you bought it. The box indicates all the necessary information you need to know about the network needed for this device to work. All of our devices are designed to work for 2.4 GHz networks primarily due to wider range because 5 GHz that cannot penetrate through walls and floors. The good news though is since most routers nowadays are dual-band, we can ask your Internet Service Provider to separate the two networks (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for them to have different SSID so you can connect your device to 2.4 GHz networks. But as of the moment mobile data is insufficient to support your device. We can discuss with you in details.     Programmed many times… it will turn on when scheduled but not turn off when scheduled..

    I was excited ordering the Geeni smart surge, but when I tried to connect it to WiFi it didn't connect, tried everything but unfortunately didn't work so I had to return it and buy the smart plugs instead. Maybe that one was defected, don't know, but didn't want to take any chances. That's why I gave it 1 star.
