The Lux Series which you have is the type of bulb that is only a cool white light where you can adjust the brightness and saturation, unlike the Prisma Series which is a LED Color Light with customization warm white and color light bulb. This light bulb will provide more options for color schemes using the settings to adjust the light intensity and temperature. The set up was very easy, there are no additional hubs needed in order to make the light work which is fantastic. With the app, you can also set up schedules with the lights which make it extremely convenient. I will be replacing a lot of my lights with this product, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for ease of use with smart home products. Looking forward to using it if I get alexa or google home

Excellent light, but the software is lacking

The software is not very full featured. There is no option to fade on or off, or fade to different color tones and different times of the day, like you can do with Phillips Hue. There is also no ITTT integration, and it doesn't integrate with any other apps at all. Still, for the price, it's hard to beat.
