Outcross in Winter

Very solid bike. While I made a few additions to help with commuting in Alaska (studded tires, carbon fiber handlebar), this bike works very well in the cold. The shifter is smooth throughout every gear, and the hub motor is surprisingly powerful. I’m enjoying the winter trails and the occasional commutes to work when the sidewalks are groomed. I can’t wait to ride this when the summer hits.
The customer service is also top notch, and very responsive. My kickstand was not tightened out of the box, and it fell off on my initial ride. I emailed and received a prompt response, and they sent a replacement free of charge ASAP. Be sure to tighten yours!

I’m a Best Buy employee and have been interested in trying out an adventure e-bike. Recieving the box was intimidating, looked like it could be confusing and a lengthy set up process. After putting it aside for two days, we were able to get it set up and rolling within 30 minutes. This bike is beautiful, and definitley has a demanding presence (not to mention dog friendly). We took it out on a quick run tonighg, and its a smooth and quick ride. I’m stoked to see how it performs this weekend on some snow trails, The only notes so far would be charge the battery during setup if you want to take off with it ASAP because it will most likely be dead which is understandable. Lets go!!

*This is my first electric bike*
The assembly was weird for a number of reasons, but once I got out on it I had a blast. This has lots of power and gets me up to 20mph fast and easy. It’s a fat tire bike so it handles bumps and slippery terrain very well. The brakes are terrible but hopefully they will break in and grab better. The front suspension works great. After a 10 mile ride the battery still shows full charge.

A great ebike….got it on sale here on BB. The bike is large…so it is good for a person at least… 5’ 10”…..if your smaller then go with the other models Gen 3 sells. The bike looks great and is built solid. The distance on the battery is very good…..gor mr I do not ride it more the 10 miles a day. Check around for deals.

I bought two of these and within the week the pedal got loose one one of them. I reached out to the company as per there website they can fix for free up to i believe the first year. Long story short they have not responded to my emails, the customer service phone number only goes to voice mail, they’ve deleted there app in Canada, there whole website is like 50% off so my conclusion is they are going out of business. Please look into another reliable brand many people have comment on the company’s website regarding defective bikes and scooters.

This bike is a blast to ride and very powerful. They recommend riding without pedal assist which I would also recommend to get the feel of it.

I bought this bike and the paint came chipped you can tell its painted as cheap as possible then at 18 miles the right pedal completely stripped off and had to take to a bike shop for repair i was so frustrated i decided i wanted to return the bike it had said i could return within 2 weeks so i contact them and they said since i was at 18 miles i couldnt return it. Since then and ever since i bought it the brakes had whined and squeeled it is so loud it hurts my ears the whole bike creaks when you ride hard almost like its going to fall apart and then the other pedal stripped off too the motor is mediocre at best the brakes the same it can barely stop me the whole bike is just a cheaply made item stay away

It would really help if you could ride this before you buy. If you are 5’10/11”-ish with shoes on you should be fine, but don’t let the ground be uneven. Ouch! It’s difficult to go slow with pedal assit turned on and the 7 speed was understated in the ads or product description. I live in a piedmont area. On the straight away i want to use my on power and then have the bike to assit on the sharp hills and when I’m exhausted. I can’t get this from the Gen3. This is too much like a carnival ride. It fun if you just want to cruise at a minimum speed with little to no effort, but not good if you are wanting a real exercise experience.
