It's ok. I think it'll do for basic use.

Decent specs for basic use.
Screen is not very bright, but it is full HD and is good enough for basic indoor use.
Keys are a little less nice than I'd hoped though I do like the full sized arrow keys.
Responsive and decent travel but the board is less nice than other more well known brands. It'll do.
Trackpad is also a little less nice than some others but will work.
Web cam is about as expected. Not the greatest but it should do for the occasional video call in a well lit room. No light to indicate it's on.
Mini HDMI port is a little disappointing but at least there are a couple regular USB ports.
Haven't fully tested performance yet but after getting it out of "S mode" it seems to launch programs acceptably fast and functions about like I'd expect. It's not quite as fast as an i3 or i5 system, but it seems to hold up for regular usage.
Time will tell if it holds up, but the overall build feels like it'll hold up to some normal use for a while.

Does the job with an external keyboard and mouse

Like other reviewers said it looks and feels like very cheap plastic. This is very particularly seen in both keyboard and touchpad. Touchpad is too sensitive or too lethargic when setting are adjusted. Keyboard - ugh!!! unless you apply the pressure right at a specific point on the key-button, that key-press is not taken and this can be easily noticeable keys with twice or more that regular key-length like Enter, Space, Shift, etc...
On the bright side it does the job if you can connect an external keyboard and mouse. Basically, if you are looking for some budget level computer to run some applications and use it as a server (with external keyboard and mouse) with it's 8GB of RAM it does the job. I tried at least 5-other laptops from big brand names with budget or economy level CPUs and all of them crashed or hung on me except this guy

If you need a basic laptop to do basic computer stuff and don't need speed this into will fit the bill.
I bought this to use mainly as a streaming device to my tv and to surf. That it does well
The reason for 4 starts and not 5 are more personal than the unit itself.
First expanding the memory to a usable amount is not really possible. I world like 16 meg minimum and this can't go beyond 12. Expanding the built in drive to a decent size amount is again limited. Lastly the over all processing speed is bare minimum. It meets my basic needs but more speed world have been nice. Given the price however I'll take it as is.

Packaging was great. The computer is worth it. I watched Netflix, Hulu, and everything. I even played Sims on it. I had it for a good year until I finally broke it by dropping it. Other than that, I never had any problems with it. A good work laptop. I just wish I had gotten a warranty on it. I really loved this computer.

I did not expect this laptop to be a premium laptop of course, but I did not expect it to be basically garbage quality either. Unfortunately I can't say there is anything good about this and it could be because I received a defective one although it did feel very cheaply made to where it would probably get worse. The keyboard was difficult to use and the keys would stick sometimes and the trackpad was awful. It was inaccurate and didn't register clicks most of the time. Mine also crashed quite a few times and that was before I even installed anything. I decided not to install anything and return this immediately since it was far too frustrating and the quality was terrible. I just could not trust this machine. Hopefully I just got a defective unit and somebody else will get a good one, but I wouldn't count on it personally or I would have gotten a replacement if I had confidence I just got a bad one. I ended up buying a more premium laptop in the end and said no thank you to any of these budget ones.

This laptop seems to be fairly fast, and durable- we did lose some of the bottom screws, but it was heavily used by our teenagers.

This computer is a great value for the price. For the money you can't get a better computer with the specs this machine has. The computer comes with Windows S mode and you can turn it off easily. It also can be upgraded to Windows 11 which is quick and easy to do.
The screen is clear and crisp. It is full HD which is unusual at this price point. The SSD is quick and the 8 gb of RAM is great. Overall I recommend this computer if you get a great sale price. It does not disappoint

I am giving this a 1 star because of the build quality. I was lucky to grab this for the sale price of 229, but it was not even worth that price either. The unit was defective so it was returned. For the little time I used it, it was quick, with having the 8GB of RAM and it has nice storage too. The quad-core processor is nice too, but the keyboard, body of the laptop, and the mouse were the worst of the unit. My unit went back because the keyboard would stick, and the mouse would as well. Plus, this company offers NO warranty since it is originally sold in the UK. Stay away from it.

Hello. Bought this with high hopes. A bit disappointed. I wasn't expecting something very high end for the price, but two issues I noticed right away. When I click on a link or a tab to switch to a different webpage, it often doesn't respond or stays stuck, and I have to keep tapping repeatedly. But what is really poor is the sound quality. Watched a video and I was really surprised how low the volume was. Thought it could be raised, but sound was at its highest. My cellphone has much louder sound. So...if you're like me and enjoy podcasts and videos, you might want to attach an external speaker. Or maybe mine doesn't work so well, and you may have better luck in that department.

I bought this laptop to program radios with Windows based software. To date, I've been really impressed with its performance. It boots quickly and programs load fairly quickly.
I was impressed that this laptop offered 8GB of ram at this price point. A lot do not at this price point.
It was shipped with Windows 10 in S mode. You can leave S mode and then have a Windows Home base pc. I also upgraded to Windows 11 for no charge.
It has a couple of USB ports, a USB-C port, mini HDMI and a dedicated Micro SD port.
Wifi works fine and Ethernet can be added with an adapter to the USB-C port.
Display resolution is full HD and an external monitor can be driven from the mini HDMI port.
All in all, a great little rig for the dollars.
Monitor BB pricing as they do run sales on this unit. The sale price I bought at made it an extremely good buy for what I wanted to spend and also knowing the level of performance offered.

I purchased this Chromebook 2 years ago for my father who’s in his 70’s. It’s held up great. He mainly uses it for searching things online, recipes etc. I decided on a Chromebook because I knew the grandkids used chrome books at school could help him if he ever needed help or if he got stuck on what to do. It’s been the best decision. Very easy for him to use for not being tech savvy.

It works fine for streaming netflix. Doing paperwork and such. However, you fill the drive before you know it. If needed for music, don't. It wont be able to operate your programs. Playing gamepass was a little choppy but that could've been on the microsoft side.

This is a very good budget laptop. I bought this knowing that this a budget laptop and would be mainly used for web related things like browsing and remote working. It works perfectly for that. It comes with 8GB RAM which is twice as much compared to most other laptops in the same price range.
The screen works fine and I have another monitor connected to it using an HDMI Mini cable. That is one thing to note - the port is HDMI Mini.
Overall there is no lag at all and it's updated with Windows 11. It's also totally quiet. Per Geo support there is no fan in this laptop at all.
There are just a couple of minor cons. The webcam is pretty bad and doesn't have an LED indicator. If you need to video conference for work considering getting a USB web cam. Additionally the sound / speakers is weak but again just a minor issue since you can plugin headphones or external speakers.
Lastly, at times after waking the computer from sleep there is what sounds like hissing. It only lasts for about 10-15 seconds and then goes away and doesn't happen all the time. Seems like it's coming from the speaker since there are no internal fans.
