Fantastic. In Ghost of Tsushima, you can explore a huge gorgeous island, literally jam-packed with content. The story is interesting, but lacks some player-driven choices that I'd like to see. Combat is smooth while still maintaining a deep tactical system. All in all, Ghost of Tsushima is my favorite open world game in a while, on the level of games like God of War.

Are six stars possible? This is the game that makes a PS5 worth purchasing. An engaging story backed up by stunning visuals and top notch, fun gameplay all while exploring a vast open world adds up to a gaming experience that validates the price of admission into the next generation of gaming. One of the most graphically stunning video games I’ve ever played. It provides a compelling story. The combat and leveling system are very solid. There’s a wide variety of very engaging side quests.

This is one of the best games I have played. I won't write specifics since it will spoil things, but the story, graphics and music is absolutely beautiful. Combat is akin to Assassin's Creed, but it is done much better in my opinion. The multiplayer mode while simple, is highly addictive and fun as well!

I had not played on ps4, but the ps5 version in 2025 looks beautiful and the game is just amazing. The writing, voice acting, gameplay, design. I love it. Definitely an immersive game that should be played in the dark to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Absolutely looking forward to getting the sequel once it is out and I'm done with this one.

This game is phenomenal. The visuals are the perfect example of next gen and the combat feels fun and challenging through the entire game. The story is engaging and the collectables are varied enough to not get too repetitive. This game is a must-play.

Game runs Great on the PS5 and has Beautiful visuals, Combat is fun and addictive and easy to pick up, has a great story that you can play at your own pace while enjoying exploring the open world.

I have owned both PS5 and Xbox Series X basically since they were released. I've always been team Xbox, but I went ahead and finally got the PS5 to try out the exclusive titles. I enjoyed Spiderman. I wanted God of War to wow me, but it didn't. I still have high hopes for the Horizon games, I just haven't gotten around to them yet. That said, my PS5 has been collecting dust for almost 2 years. I've been enjoying Game Pass and all its offerings, along with other titles on Xbox. Then this past holiday season my son convinced me to get Ghost of Tsushima. I haven't touched my Xbox in the past month. This game is EXCELLENT. The graphics are gorgeous. The story is good. The gameplay is fun. It has some shortcomings, but they are few. Best game I've played in quite a while. I highly recommend this title.

This is one of the best open world games I’ve ever played. The landscape is breath taking, and you can tell the developers loved making this game. The combat is immersive and provides an enjoyable difficulty. You will get lost in this world of samurai/weapon combat and ninja/stealth gameplay. I can’t wait until the next entry in this new IP. Overall, 97/100

Great game fun to play great, DLC Great story lots of fun

For Best Buy: i purchased the game during a black friday sale and got a great deal on it. Ordered it for shipping to my house and arrived at the promised time with no issues. The purchasing experience on the app was seamless. For Ghost of Tsushima: the game is great. Very peaceful landscape and a lot of violence to balance it out. It truly is a yin and yang. I look forward to coming home to play it, and it’s been a while since I’ve felt that way about a game.

My son plays it more than me; however, love the graphics and the story line. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it.

Love the game so much, bought in in preparation for the sequel that just dropped and I'm really enjoying it so far. Was brand new and in perfect condition when I got it and runs great on the PS5.

Note: this review is for the Arden Fair Best Buy in Sacramento. They quickly got this game ready for me to pick up and they were the only store to carry this title. Really saved my holiday season shopping wish list for my nephew as I was not expecting to find Ghost of Tsushima on PS5, and not looking forward to breaking that news to him. Granted, I waited a bit long after hearing about the special Black Friday $40 of this game, but this location saved the day. The Game: very good and epic cut scenes with vibrant colors that really pop on the screen. Originally, I got Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and IMO, Ghost blows that game out of the water. I was really excited to play Valhalla, but did not spend more than one day playing, and finding it very boring. Ghost however, has very good fight sequences, and just the right balance of hard and easy so it’s pretty engaging.

As a gamer who has been around since the PS1 days, Ghost of Tsushima is definitely in my top 5 favorite games. If you own a PS5, go ahead and pick this one up. GOS is one of the best looking games on the system and the combat it top notch.

Immersive story with action packed sammurai fights. 10/10 game

I saw some clips of this game while scrolling TikTok a few months ago and thought this looked like a fun game. As it turns out, this is one of the best games I’ve ever played. The storyline is incredible, the graphics are incredible, and the side quests all play into the main story and extends the gameplay out quite a bit. 10/10 would recommend.
