The Ghostek Atomic 3 Series case is, overall, a solid phone case that provides adequate protection for your iPhone 7, albeit with a few design quirks that take some time to adjust to. Like most heavy-duty cases, assembly is required, and Ghostek’s instructions are clear and easy to follow: I had no problem assembling this case and slotting my phone into it. The case looks better on the phone than it does in the packaging: it looks slick and has an aesthetic that works better if you choose a color that matches that of your iPhone. The buttons on the case are smaller than those on the iPhone, making it easier to hit the button with the function you’re looking for, and not mistakenly hit another (no more accidentally turning up your phone’s volume when you want to bring it down). The silent button slides itself into a knob that you turn to switch your sound on/off, instead of the switch that most phone cases slot in over the switch on your phone. This takes some time to adjust to (it’s sometimes confusing to remember which direction the knob needs to spin in order to silence/un-silence your phone), and is one of my gripes with the design of the case: because the knob is for an on-off switch, it can’t make a full rotation. This sounds like a weird complaint to have, but I could imagine someone accidentally breaking the knob because they applied too much force in the wrong direction. The case doesn’t feel fragile, per say, but plastic can only withstand so much punishment. The case surrounds the home button with a line of hard plastic, presumably to further separate it from the ground if your dropped it, and it landed face-down: I say this, because I honestly can’t tell what the point of this additional apparatus is. The iPhone 7’s home button is not vulnerable to water being leaked in, and can’t break, as it’s effectively touch-enabled and only simulates a click when pressed on. The only other reason I can guess as to its inclusion is to provide some tactile feedback as to where your thumb is on the phone. It can be an aggravating inclusion if you plan to use your iPhone’s shortcut menu to turn on/off Bluetooth, wifi, airplane mode, your flashlight, or your calculator, because it covers up the bottom portion of the touchscreen above the home button. If you’re used to swiping up from the middle of your phone, you’re going to need to re-adjust. The last gripe that I have with the design is that the entrance to the lightning port is pretty small: your Apple’s lightning USB in no problem, but some bulkier third party ones won’t fit. As someone who uses third-party USBs in the car, it’s probably my biggest issue with the case. All of these problems with the design are relatively minor, however, and if you can look past all of them, you’re guaranteed to be getting an excellent case. The case does add a fair bit of bulk to your phone, but if that’s not a problem for you (and if you’re looking for a heavy-duty case, it shouldn’t be something that bothers you) then this should be a non-factor. In terms of actual protection, it does the trick. The plastic covering the screen does a great job at both protecting it from scratches, and allowing your touches to go through without any additional force. The case is waterproof, adding another later of water protection to your already water-resistant iPhone 7 (with this case, water damage will surely be a non-issue). The mesh allows sound to come through clearly, both when talking on the phone and when listening through the stereo speakers: I noticed no difference in sound quality coming from the speakers after putting on the case. And, again, it does look pretty slick. It’s not obnoxious in its design like an OtterBox. Regardless of some weird design decisions, I’m keeping this case on my phone. It doesn’t add a crazy amount of bulk, it looks nice, and I don’t have to worry about my phone dropping onto hard surfaces or into a large amount of water anymore. It’s a great alternative to OtterBox and Lifeproof: recommended.

First off Good Presentation on the packaging,i feel most companies fall short in the small details like the box it comes in, overall the case is awesome, the case itself barely weighs anything but feels super solid with the aluminum frame i couldn't even bend the frame by squeezing it in my hand, the chrome finish around edge right below the top cover gives the phone a nice look, i was a little iffy on the top cover that will make the seal to make it waterproof just by looking at it but after putting the phone in and sealing the top cover you really have to push to make it sit in the groove to make the seal so that made me alot more at ease, although the iPhone 7 is already water resistant i don't know that Im brave enough to let water touch it so having this case with a good seal to make it waterproof is a plus,the silent/vibrate rocker is replaced by the spinning wheel which takes a bit of getting used to but it works and is something new you dont really see on case,i initially expected the back to be a soft plastic but ended up being a super hard plastic with a clear frosted finish so you can still see a bit of what color your iphone is, awesome case for the money!!

I've had this case for about 2 weeks now overall I would say it's nice. It is slim which is rare for most cases that provide full protection. The audio quality is good unlike the lifeproof case which muffles your speech. It is very easy to put on and take off your phone without being afraid you may break a prong like other cases. The seal keeps the phone very clean. It has a cover for the charging port. It comes with a dust cleaner and a wristlet strap. My strap however has already broken (I was not swinging my phone around with it). I have not tried to use this case under water so I cannot speak for that feature. I find there is a space between the screen of the phone and the case screen which is quite unappealing when typing but I also didn't remove my screen protector as instructed so that may be the reason. There is a loop that encircles the home button which makes you have to use a little more effort when pressing the home button. But other than that I would give this phone case a 7/10.

The case was delivered much quicker than I expected. The unboxing was reasonably easy. It took some time to get the sticky bits off, but it was fine in the end. The case is quite light, and feels nice. Putting the case on the phone is actually much simpler than many other similar cases. The inside stays very dry, having placed it under running water for a while. The circular knob to make the phone silent is quite clever, and seems ok to use. The other buttons are a bit harder to press, but that's expected. The only problem I have with the case is the protector on the home button and screen. It feels weird, especially since the protector doesn't always lay tight on the screen. If this were changed, this would be a perfect case.

This is my second Atomic 3 series purchase for different phones. The first I have had for a while and it works great. I tend to drop my phone often and although the case gets a little beat up on the corners my phone has been safe and sound. Even when dropped off a ladder. I always do a water proof test. Although I had my concerns with how the case closes, it passed both times. It does have a little sound issue when talking on the phone if I don't open the charging slot. However compared to other waterproof cases it is not as bad. I like these cases and my phone remains in perfect condition.

Overall I am happy with the Atomic 3 Case. The the rubber piece that holds the phone in feels solid when your press the case together to seal it. The two things I noticed that worked well on this phone case that I've had issues with on other waterproof phone cases ion the passed is that people can actually hear me though the seals on the phone case and the dial that controls the ringer on and off actually works.

Extremely durable and sleek design. Water proof is a major bonus especially taking photos and videos under water. Only improvement needed is the lid cover from the charging connection section. It might ripped off over a period of usage.

Ghostek has been my choice of cases for the last few years. My iphone 6 was protected with the Ghostek Atomic 2 case, and I was more than happy with it. So, I just has to purchase the Atomic 3 when I got my new iphone 7. The atomic 3 is even better! Very sleek. Not at all bulky like you'd find with other waterproof cases. Very rugged feel, but stylish. Highly recommended!

This case is solid and secure, looks good too. The only thing I didn't like was the very small gap between the screen protector and the actual screen. So when you press on the screen protector there's a little bit of "give" there. The volume knob is cool and everything else about the case is awesome.

WOW, Ghostek has done it again! This case is awesome. When un-packaging as well as putting it on the iPhone, there were no issues at all! The best part is the sensitivity is great and I have absolutely have NO issues with others hearing me on the iPhone. I would have to say, this is better than Lifeproof!

This case has a very sturdy feel to it even without the phone in it. Very nice rotating knob make it easy to switch between silent and ringer. Unlike other cases. No water seeps in at all very sealed. Comes with a lanyard, cloth to clean screen. Fingerprint sensor still works without any lag or issues.

Case is really light. I love the design and that you still can show off your phone. I put my iPhone 7 in the case in water to see if it was water proof and I was surprised to not even see a drop of water! Second Ghostek case I have! Ghostek good job!

This protects amazingly whilst still being lightweight. I haven't tested the waterproof claim yet but using this case gives me such piece of mind.

Excelent protection, great quality, touchscreen works fine. People hear me fine. Best off all more water protection for the phone.

Just got this case and am already in love with it!! Thin and light but seems to protect the phone very well. I was very curious about the "wheel" on the left side before I realized it controlled the silent switch.....that wheel works far better than any of the toggle switches I have used on any other case before. I was going to go with Lifeproof again but this case is every bit as good at a fraction of the price. Two thumbs up!!

This is a great case. It was easy to put on and did not add too much bulk; I can put it in my front jeans pocket and sit without any discomfort. The case also feels nice and sturdy when I hold it in my hand. All the buttons are still accessible and I have no problems navigating my phone controls. I tend to be pretty rough on my phone cases, but so far this case has held up well and still looks great.

This case is straight up awesome. It's slim enough to be easily pulled out of pocket, as well as sturdy and strong enough to withstand and protect from drops. The waterproof rating of the case also makes it great! I love being able to put a glass protector under it and still have great response to touch.

This offers such peace of mind. It's very sturdy, claims to be waterproof (haven't tested that yet) and shock proof whilst still being stylish and light. I love this!

The slim design case is cool but you can't really hear anyone on the phone.
