Something like this would never get greenlighted in today's superhero/CGI/big budget Hollywood. Fun, campy, cheesy---and intended to be that way

Action packed horror movie. Definitely worth seeing!! Obviously it takes place on Mars, and right off the bat this movie takes off!! Pretty good movie all an all.

One of those movies either you like or dislike. For me I enjoy it for what it is. Carpenter movie at its best.

Another great one from one of the best directors of all time! This DVD has a awesome picture and great extras!

An older movie but one I really enjoyed when it came out. Glad to see it re-released in blu-ray.

I loved this film every since I saw it on hbo pay perview when it came out and bought the dvd years ago. It felt nice to upgrade it to beautiful bluray still packed with the original special features from the dvd. Most of MillCreek blurays don’t have that but I’m glad they did with this film. It’s one of my favorite John Carpenters underrated gems. Sadly I don’t think a sequel will ever happen now. But maybe a decent remake could happen and could turn it into a franchise

One of Carpenter's movies that I did not like originally but have come to appreciate upon further viewings. I never really got this movie until it was pointed out to me that it's a western in space. Frontier bank heist, prisoner transfer, battle with Native Americans. Yup. It's all there. The blu ray is a big improvement over the DVD.

The sale price was too good to pass up on this. I hadn't watched it years. Ghosts of Mars is not one of Carpenter's greatest, but it's better than I remembered. Good cast; good music. Not a lot to think about. It's escapist entertainment. The Blu-ray looks and sounds fantastic. If you're a John Carpenter fan, I recommend it.

One of my favorite Ice Cube movies. I love Ghosts of Mars. Yes, a bit off on story, dialogue, and sequences. The gore and the action, with a few one liners makes it worth it. John Carpenter always gives us weird, but good to enjoy.

The Blu ray quality: Picture and sound are good. Good surround. The plot: For a John Carpenter movie, it was average. A lot of build up for not much of an ending. It is worth a look.

I got this after realizing Anthrax helped with the score/soundtrack. It's not the best movie, but its a fun watch. And its Carpenter, so you know its not all bad.

This is an underrated Carpenter movie. A bit cheesy but still does the trick after all these years. Great for a movie night with friends!
