I used to use these on all my guitars so I bought these because of the price and history. I was disappointed to find only five strings in the pack though. how do you take them back when half of them are already strung on the guitar!!! I will open them before leaving the store the next time.

Some of the strings had small bits of corrosion, probably old. Oh well. They didnt sound bad.

I've been using Boomers for years now. They give me a great clean and distorted tone. The .10 gauge lasts a long time and is great for rock and metal styles.

I just got 5 packs of these excellent strings shipped to my door for $5. GHS is a well established brand name in guitar strings. These are high quality strings. As a guitar player I can honestly say that most guitarists worry about 2 things with guitar strings, how they sound and how long they last before needing to be replaced. These are one of those brands people choose to buy for their sound. Most players change strings fairly often so string longevity is only an issue for the closet player who doesn't play out much and it isn't much of an issue then. some players prefer 9's and these are 10's so just be sure of the players preferred size before buying. Other than that these are a no brainer. Buy them!

Great value. Well known brand. I replaced the strings on my 1974 Les Paul with these GHS Boomers. Great tone, repsonsive to pick attack and they stay in tune. Wil definately purchase more for my other electric guitars.

WHEN I WAS SHOPPING AROUND I DIDNT EVEN KNOW BESTBUY SOLD GUITAR STRINGS. WHEN I SEEN THEM I WAS LIKE WOW THEY SELL GUITAR STRINGS! AND THEN I SEEN THE COST OF THE STRINGS! THEY WERE AMAZINGLY CHEAP. AND THEY ARE GREAT GUITAR STRINGS.. IF MUSICIANS KNEW THAT BESTBUY SOLD GUITAR STRINGS, I AMGINE THEY WOULD BUY THEM FROM BESTBUY!!

I mean, I got them for five dollars for five. It was way worth the money. I think I might like these even more that D'addarios depending on the durability. I went ahead and marked that as 5/5 just because the tone on them is so nice and fat. It has a dark but still warm tone, yet I can still get a nice twangy bright sound when necessary. Great strings, great deal.

I own 7 acoustic and 9 electric guitars and I used to string many of them with different brand strings to achieve my desired sound. Great thing about GHS strings is that they sound great whether I'm playing blues, jazz, country, folk,... I would recommend them to anyone, beginner or seasoned player, looking for a great all-purpose string.

Bought these for my son's Kramer 6-string electric. Very nice quality string build, love the sound. We re-strung every string on this floating-bridge guitar in ~30 minutes. They sound so good that it makes me think my local music store was using inferior stings...hmmm.
