It's been about a week, so take it with a grain of salt. The laptop is way above my expectations. The goods: 1. The screen is amazing. It's glossy display, but you could probably find a matte screen protector or a privacy screen if you cared. 2. Linux mostly works out of the box excepting few details. I used manjaro, but i assume fedora would be same. - Fingerprint reader seems flaky, i couldn't get myself enrolled yet, but might take a few tinkering in manjaro's documentation. - Screen brightness FN key was working, but after an update it started didn't, so this also seems like a thing i can fix. You can adjust the brightness from the battery icon through the UI, so the functionality is definitely there and working well. 3. Laptop runs really cool for normal use under linux, the fans are on at a very low speed (might be a linux related thing) 4. Rams is upgradable for both slots. The bad: 1. Camera is placed in an odd place right above the power icon. It's also very badly angled, and you cannot adjust it. You might still need to buy a spare cam if that bothers you. 2. Some keys feel oddly placed on the keyboard like arrows. I find myself mistyping when i try to do word traversal with control + arrows.

This is a great laptop. It does everything I need.
