KVM and 144Hz not working

I bought this for 144Hz and KVM but it is not working for me/ My refresh rate is showing 60Hz and in the Display setting when I change from 1080p to 720p, then I see the option to change it to 144Hz and it looks terrible. I rather be on 1080p with 60Hz. None of my type c connections are working. I'm using type c MacBook Pro charger, Phone type c charger to connect to MacBook Pro, work windows laptop, android phone and no luck. I don't know if there's a special kind of type c cable you need.

could work better as a KVM

But the KM part did not does not work. I have try putting it on the display the USB wireless connection to the keyboard and mouse did not work. I had to finally put it on one laptop and when I would need to move it over to the other laptop. I do like the display size and that I can see things better on it than on the laptop. Just with all of the KVM work like it should.
