Very nice laptop! This thing is NICE!
Standard packing and unbox. Get the laptop and charger. Charger is USB end.
Build is nice and seems rugged. Screen sits nicely over the top with no exposed hindges. Nor does the screen hindge around the back.
Screen is 16" with high refresh rate. Great for gaming and smooth image. Paired with the 4050 Graphics card. It will handle whatever game you throw at it.
Power is good. Able to do all tasks. Never really had any lagging while using. Mated with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. All are expandable to 64GB RAM and 4TB storage.
Fit and finish are really nice. All smooth lines to the body. Full kbd that is illuminated
Lots of real estate space on the machine. I really wish they would have added a few media buttons for volume. Large track pad is usefull.
Ventilation is very good - Vents places bottom, rear, and side. Works very well to displace heat and fan noise is at a minimum.
Overall, nice laptop with gaming performance at a reasonable price. Ability to increase specs is a HUGE bonus.

My unboxing of the Gigabyte gaming a16 - 16" laptop was a pleasant experience. The quality was pretty obvious when I pulled the laptop out of its cloth bag. It felt sturdy and solid. I plugged it in, powered it on and the setup process for this laptop was a breeze. With the Intel Core i7-13620H and the RTX 4050, this is a solid entry level gaming laptop. It can handle most modern games without issue. There is the option to upgrade the RAM, but I had no issues with the 16GB DDR5 single channel RAM that comes installed. The keyboard is full size ten keyless. The keys have a nice travel and pressure making for a comfortable typing experience but I wish I could change the backlight color. The display is very nice- bright colors and great refresh for smooth motions. Sound was much nicer that previous experiences with laptops. Sound was clean with pretty decent bass. The battery life lasted for about 4 hours but I rarely use the battery saver settings. I prefer performance settings at all times so I can understand the battery not lasting all day. My only ding on this laptop is that the power adapter wasn't a USB-C port. I think using the adapter plug that it comes with is a step down. It's a small thing but why not use the C port power options and add an additional C Port on the opposite side of the other two to allow for some versatility. I would recommend this laptop for any casual or newbie gamer.

Gigabyte does it again with an affordable gaming laptop! I really love the design of this laptop. It's very sleek and the black is very nice. The biggest downside I have with it is the material used for it. It is a bit "cheap." You can tell it's plastic and that's not necessarily a good thing. It doesn't feel like it will just break unnecessarily, but it's definitely a downside for what is a great gaming laptop. I'm very pleased with the i7 core and the 4050 graphics card it has. Its very capable of running competitive games and it does it all without hiccups. Running more modern games at max settings does take a set back but you'll be able to play with a decent FPS on it still. I suggest making the settings lower to ensure a steady fps.
The keyboard layout is great and doesn't look goofy either. Being a TKL keyboard ensures the layout doesn't look clunky and it looks to be more professional that you can use for office work and not just gaming. The keyboard is lit and Gigabyte does provide software support as well. It's a solid laptop for a solid price.
