Okay for the price

This headset connected directly to the controller. Sounds was fine, nothing fancy. Others could clearly hear me. My only complaint is when it was plugged up. Maybe I had a defective headset, but I had to unplug and replug the thing because it would not register with the PS4 as it being plugged in. It served it's purpose for a few weeks, though.

Broke after 3 uses, microphone stopped working

Easy on the ears

Good but overpriced.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a simple chat earpiece similar to the one the PS4 brings (mine broke) Everything I found was a "headset" which is over the head style and so this was the closest I could find. The actual earbud that goes inside your ear fits comfortable and so does the over the ear arm thingy. The sound is clear, I have no issues hearing everyone in the chat. My complaints are with the mic and the mute button. The mic is very short and the way the product is designed, if you put it on "correctly" the mic is practically right next to your eye. So unless you can speak thru your eye you have to tilt it forward/downward for the mic to face your mouth. Also it being very short you either speak loudly or put your mic sensitivity up on the PS4, which can be annoying if you use gaming headsets that have better mics (Astro, Turtle Beach, etc.) The mute button was made as part of the actual cable and it is very easy to pull and thus place yourself on mute. However it does have some pros. Like I said earlier it's comfortable and lightweight so using it for hours should not be an issue. It brings three different sized earbuds to fit your ear and help with the comfort. Incoming voice sound is loud and clear. It is very sleek and nice looking. Overall, it's good but I would recommend getting it on sale or using a coupon if you have one. Hope this helps.
