This is a great game with excellent combat and storytelling. There’s vast variety of gears, weapons, and skills to keep busy throughout out main campaign and side quests. Now you also get free Valhalla DLC!

Great game. If you enjoyed the first one this takes all of the best mechanics and storytelling from that one to another level. Definitely worth it but you need to play the first one to get the most out of it

The best God of war ever. I don't normally review games but this is one of the most interesting, exciting, enjoyable experiences that I have ever had. Gameplay is amazing and the story keeps you on your toes.

A great traditional rpg. Great story line. However, u might not like this if you’re into open world. There is nothing open at all in this game beside chests. Puzzles are very easy to solve, mjority no brain.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas this year! He apkayed the original God of War on the old PlayStation and loved it! I know he is going to be so excited on Christmas Day when he opens this along with the new PS5!!!

I love this game and i love the graphics and the gameplay everthing is so perfect and i cant wait for more games to come and play i wish there was a way ti go in the game and enjoy its just so amazing

Greatest story game of all time. God of War 2018 is obviously a close second

If ER came out a different year GoWR would have been top dog. It feels like a direct sequel, as in nothing new, but what it continues to do it does the best. The new free Valhalla DLC is worth it alone.

If you've played the first God of War that this is a sequel to, you'll love this. If you haven't, then you missed out, but you don't need to play the first in order to follow this one. It's loads of fun.

This is probably more of a 3.5 than a 4, but the quality of the game is undeniable. Incredible graphics and performances, along with a refined combat system with some excellent optional boss fights in the end game make this a must play for fans. That said, the narrative is bloated and unwieldy compared to the graceful simplicity of the original, and a lot of gameplay areas feel like filler (especially the sections where you play as Atreus, whose mechanics are not as varied or interesting as Kratos' yet take up probably more than a third of your time in game. As always the boss fights in the main story are more focused on moving the story forward and proving a dynamic, cinematic experience than providing much in the way of an interesting challenge. Those fights are reserved for the Beserkers, this game's version of the original's Valkyrie fights. Personally I enjoyed the story and level design of the original far more, and even preferred the gear/leveling more as well, but this was still a very fun time for most of the lengthy campaign. I did not feel compelled to go into NG+ for this one, however, despite doing that multiple times with the first game. The newly added (and free) Valhalla DLC, on the other hand, is excellent and provides lots of extra value to the game once you have rolled credits.

I recently purchased the PS5 Slim and this has to be my first game, I love the GOW Saga and this is an incredible game, graphics, story and play on point. I recommend this game to anyone with a PS5.

This game has some of the most beautiful graphics and one of the most filling storylines I’ve ever experienced. 10/10 deserves a top spot in best games of all times

This game is truly amazing. The plot is very well thought out, the worlds are truly incredible, and the fact there are so many is insane. You just keep discovering new, beautiful places. The mythological aspect of this game makes it interesting and you even get to learn a thing or two. The characters have depth and evolve throught the game in a way thats done better than many movies. The graphics have to be the best part, although there trult is no bad part the graphics just take the cake. The detail in everything will blow your mind. Even on a cheaper TV this game still looks incredible.
