Save your money! Not very happy with the camera angles for the character. Seems to mediocre.

Not that good because of lack of storyline........

First of all, I picked up Spider-Man, demons souls and AC Valhalla along with Godfall and am having so much fun with it, I haven’t even opened the other games yet. I’ve had a chance to spend about 4 hrs with this game and from what I’ve experienced so far, it is fantastic!!!! Seriously, the graphics are beautiful! Looks like a painting, the colors and crispness of the world, wow! The gameplay and feel are like darksiders on steroids! I’m really impressed and don’t get any kind of hate for this game. When you first start out, it may take about an hour in to start really opening up to all the rpg elements. The customization of your character, weapons, skills, ring slots, skills, etc. I really like the combat, it’s a great hack and slash. When you start to get into it, you will be able to select between all these awesome looking different armor sets. A ring of statues that you can choose from. I can guarantee the negative reviews I’m seeing in here are from people that picked it up for 15 minutes or so and figured this is it? You did not give the game a chance then. It’s one of those games I’m afraid. It’s not going to offer you the entire experience in the first few minutes!!! Takes a bit, but when you get to that point, you are going to have a lot of fun. Also, what hack and slash type game can’t get repetitive??? All games can and that’s why you change the disc for a bit and then go back to it. Like any other game. So far, I have not done that and, look at some of the launch titles!!! Beautiful graphics and fun game! Favor resolution in the game settings looks amazing! Glad I bought Godfall.

Godfall combat very clunky and makes you go at fights slow. You have block, parry and evade mechanics to use while fighting. Problem is block and parry requires the use of your shield. Shield doesn't cancel animations so this means you will be animation locked while attacking. Making it impossible to react to incoming attacks quickly while in a combo chain. This can be a big issue when the game throws 5+ enemies at you. You can easily become overwhelmed in the middle of combos. It helps to get your aoe shield stun to slam enemies with that are grouped. From what Ive see evade (dodge roll/slide) is infinite use and thats nice. But enemies can quickly and easily change direction of attacks to still hit you. You can easily get stuck in trees or loot chests if you evade near them so a heads up. Enemy types seem limited at least in the 1st few hours. Im at about 5 hours and have seen maybe 7 types. They have enemies for what seems each playable weapon and then mages. Sometimes you run across dog type minions also that are in packs. I feel like story is kinda blah as you're just thrown into it. Valorplates really all seem the same for the most part. They have different damage types/passive but the ultimate type ability seems to only be 2 types. You have an melee aoe blast or summon spirits. They might look like warframes but don't have drastically different play styles like them. Lastly the game lacks matchmaking and cross play. You can only group with friends from your friends list. As an online looter slasher I bought this expecting to be like warframe or destiny and its not a multi-player looter. I was massively disappointed by this as the game could be so much fun with others. With the ps5 being hard to get right now its made the available friends list players limited. I would say look into this game when its on sale dont pay full price. It looks great and runs well on ps5. I would wait for bug fixes and maybe basic features to hopefully get added.

This game is such a disappointment i had high hopes for this when it was teased. I mean stunning graphics and fighting pretty smooth. But story lacks and just repeats of the same bosses and not much challenge went through the first experience on hard mode and wasn't hard at all....

First off let me say when we bought this we thought we could play it offline in single player mode well that unfortunately wasn't the case ! You must be online always to play which to me is a deal breaker . 2nd the price? Way over priced for a game with little content a world that's pretty but kind of empty with not a ton to really explore. I would not drop 74 bucks on anything like this if I would have known I would have been more forgiving if I could have at least played offline but truth of the matter is your giving them 70 bucks for a game you won't be able to play eventually because it's online only . Easy pass I'd advise you skip this one or wait till it's 20 or under .

Great game! I have been having a blast playing this with my brother. It's an awesome game to play co-op with a few friends! I don't understand all the negative reviews! Give it a shot! I think you'll enjoy it. Create your own opinion.. don't listen to me.

Excellent product, super recommendable, and I really liked the game itself, excellent graphics.

What a complete trash of a game, go play God of War, is cheaper and a WAY better game

its sucks don't waste $69 for this game save ur money
